The location, price, and room are great. It is very comfortable and absolutely perfect if you just need somewhere comfortable and convenient to sleep while visiting for work at a fantastic price.
Not a complaint, but if you are in a room on a higher floor you need to run the shower for a couple of minutes to get hot water.
Cordialita' e gentilezza: senza confronti.
coffee machine in lobby
bad wifi and no toiletries provided
Everything. Everybody was lovely. The best place I've been. I would come again.
Nothing positive that could be mentioned.
Do not stay here!! The hotel is old, run down and not up to operating standards. Room was tiny, with a DIY bedframe that felt like it was going to fall apart any second, and visible water damage that was painted over. Bathroom smelt terribly like bleach. Water would not turn hot for half an eternity, and once it did it would randomly turn scolding. The "hairdryer" was a vacuum-esque pipe in the wall that looked like it was going to go up in flames any moment. No basic amenities provided (apart from a 3-in-1 shower gel), only one towel despite having booked for two people. Room was on the 5th floor of a tight staircase, in case of a fire you're a lost cause. Asking for a breakage deposit whilst offering rooms that are falling apart is a ridiculous move.
The location is great. There is a free coffee machine at the reception.
The staff i met was rude and unwelcoming. I was first given a wrong room in the basement which was changed after some argument.
Location
Dint get £40 back
The location is great, next to Earl’s Court station. The bed was big and comfortable (and clean)
When I arrived I was required to give a deposit. That’s no problem, a lot of hotels do it. But the deposit is exactly for what? In my understanding it’s for when a guest breaks something, then the deposit will cover the damage, but things in the room were already broken. The thin plastic door used to separate the bathroom-room was broken, and with broken plastic parts than can cut you, the mini shower had only one door (so all the water was coming out when showering) and the walls were filthy. What can you break when everything is already broken? Just to avoid problems, I took pictures of everything on arrival just in case they tried to scam me when I was doing the check out saying I broke this or that. Apparently the money was sent straight away to my account but no one went to check my room so how do they know if I did any damage or not? Seems a bit fishy. Maybe a way to get your card info? Also one of the nights I returned after midnight, the main door was open and the guy at reception was doing his thing, so basically anyone could enter the building. Didn’t feel safe so I never left important belongings in the room when I was out.
