Very nice stay in a very nice city, but avoid bringing your car inside the walls. Very difficult to drive and to park.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were lovely, really helpful and lots of great recommendations for food. The breakfast was also great. It’s really good value given its central location, we had a triple room which wasn’t massive but spacious enough - would definitely recommend and will return on our next visit.

A nice small hotel within the walled city, and one of the cheapest ones within the walls. Pleasant location in one of the more open parts of the walled city, i.e. not down a narrow side-street. Room was quite basic but good; clean and comfortable. Small bar and lounge area is available within the hotel. Very nice buffet breakfast too. I would stay here again.

Hotel was great. The gentleman at the registration desk was extremely helpful. Great little place inside the wall in Saint Malo. Highly recommend.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and in a great location for the historic center. We had a bottle of wine as room service and parking on site.

We loved staying at Maison Vauban. The owner was super helpful with restaurant and other recommendations for what to see and do in St. Malo. The breakfast was also delicious -- especially the fresh fruit. The rooms on the side or back may be quieter, as there are recycling bins in the front.

Excellent accueil et conseils pour les bonnes adresses, très bon emplacement, chambre confortable, excellent petit déjeuner. Bref, nous avons passé un très bon séjour !

Excellently located in the old town St Malo city walls.
We stayed for 3 nights and ate and drank very well.
Kristof on reception was incredibly helpful with his advice on what to see, do and where to eat and drink.
Very impressed with St Malo as a destination with the quality beaches, city walls, restaurants and Breton Cidre !
We used the PayToPark App to pay for our car parking, which worked really well.
We were there during a heat wave, so could have done with air conditioning, but it was unusual for it to be that warm.
