Location, man at reception, (very calm and helpful about the parking) and spacious room, comfortable bed.
Parking, the ground floor parking had big spaces but was just very awkward getting into them. Lots of back and forth.

Oh my. Where to start? The room I was in was exceptionally comfortable and warm, with plenty of space so that I was comfortable during my stay. The decor was beautiful and enhanced the feeling of peace and calm after the hours of exploring. The staff were very cheery, bright, friendly, and helpful. And I loved the location, which was just a few steps from the canals and the action of Little Venice. The breakfast was lovely, with cereals, breads, and amazing cheeses!
The parking space reserved for my Mazda CX30 was quite small and oddly shaped. It took me 20 minutes to back out.
The hotel, in a refurbished old Colmar building was in a great location for exploring the old town, and nicely designed and decorated, integrating some of the ancient features of the building, though our 'classic' room was quite small, only suited for a couple with not much luggage; the shower room on the other hand was spacious with a great shower; the staff was friendly and very helpful and the buffet breakfast had a variety to satifsfy most morning appetites.
The room was small and facing the sun in the pm, so got very hot and stuffy; the air conditioning was not working, as it was apparently still not the summer season, though we happened to by there on a very warm May weekend. The staff supplied us with a fun which helped a little. This for us, plus the small size of the room (for the price paid!) was a major drawback.
Na ja, wir kommen hier öfter, allerdings immer in der Vor- oder Nachsaison. Dann gibt es meist kein Parkplatzproblem...
Dafür wohnt man aber dicht am "Geschehen" Hier tobt das Leben...
Chambre très spacieuse et literie très confortable, petit frigo bienvenu, très belle douche et très belle déco, de nombreux rangements, très bon petit-déjeuner avec tables disponibles en suffisance, hôtel hyper bien situé dans le quartier Petite Venise. Personnel très agréable qui pouvait nous conseiller sans souci sur les activités et autres lieux d’intérêt, ouvert 24h/24.
Malheureusement nous étions au rez-de-chaussée ce qui ne pose en principe aucun souci. Sauf que notre suite donnait sur une très belle cour intérieure meublée de jolies tables et de chaises où les gens venaient fumer, nous ne pouvions donc pas ouvrir notre porte-fenêtre sans être incommodés par l’odeur de cigarette, dommage…
Peut-être serait-il judicieux de proposer cette suite à des fumeurs ou interdire de fumer dans ce lieu « public ».

It was beautifully decorated and was very warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were good and the staff very helpful.
For self drivers who are not able to reserve a hotel space, (we tried weeks in advance) ability to park on the street is very hit and miss. Also, while we appreciated the luxury hand wash and shower gel, it had honey in and my husband who is a strict vegan could not use it.
