A fantastic stopover spot with spacious rooms (& Colmar is definitely worth a visit)
Pros:

I wished I had reason to stay longer in Colmar because the Greet Hotel was fantastic! It would've also been great to arrive earlier and avail of the drinks and social vibe downstairs. I chose it for its convenience off the motorway and for parking and being pet-friendly. Honestly, such a great little place and the rooms were extraordinarily spacious.

Cons:

When I arrived, it became apparent the person at the shared reception/bar space was bar staff and couldn't check me in. There was a little wait for someone to come out to serve me, which is a small gripe, I acknowledge, and only memorable really because I was busting to go to the bathroom and offload bags. It also could've been a new starter who wasn't sure of the process.

Disappointing breakfast, rude morning staff, nice rooms.
Pros:

The rooms were clean, and the kids’ corner was very good and well suited for families with children.

Cons:

The breakfast was very disappointing and did not meet basic expectations. There were no eggs available, not even for children. When we asked the morning reception manager if eggs could be provided for our kids, the response was rude and offensive. Although we paid for breakfast for everyone, we ultimately had to go elsewhere so the children could eat something. The manager justified this by saying the hotel is “ecological” and that it was low season, which did not make the situation any better. That said, evening reception manager was very helpful, kind and friendly.

Bad breakfast, rude morning staff, nice rooms
Pros:

Rooms were clean, there was a kid’s corner which is good for the families. The evening reception manager was very kind and friendly.

Cons:

Bad and insufficient breakfast, was not a breakfast at all. There were 7 eggs for the whole hotel for over 25 guests, and when i asked for more eggs for our children, the staff was very rude. The explanation was ‘this is the low season, we dont have more’.
Besides, the breakfast was very poor, no hot food at all, just some cheese and jam.
