Location was very good. Close to train station and also walkable to main sights.

Cons:

I booked this hotel partially because it listed air conditioning as an amenity. We stayed during a couple of very warm days in May, but they refused to turn on the air conditioning as it was "only operational in summer". Opening windows was not an option because there was scaffolding all along the side of the building, so anyone could have entered the room. We asked for a fan, but were told simply "no". No apologies or any attempt to help, SO we spent a good portion of our first of only 2 days in Strasbourg trying to find an inexpensive fan - to no avail.

Pros:

Excellent location for visiting Strasbourg. Even though the room was right next to the elevator you could barely hear it. The staff was helpful with things like restaurant recommendations, parking, and luggage storage.
