Neat converted chateau just outside Bayeux, great for a quiet, peaceful stay
Pros:

Nice place to break up our trip between the north of Normandy and Mont St Michel. Not a normal hotel which made it fun - the chateau is cool, the staircase is impressive, our room was large and nice. It's a bit of a quirky place (to be expected from a converted historical property). Quiet walk into the center of Bayeux was maybe 10 minutes or so. Pleasant staff, good breakfast.

Cons:

Would be nice to know if you're going to have a bathtub or a shower. We enjoyed the bath but the tab leaked so we had to put towels around it to soak up water. Like I said, quirky place but fun.

Bel giardino, la struttura di per sé sarebbe bellissima, ma non è tenuta bene e avrebbe bisogno di molti interventi.

Cons:

Insomma... non buon rapporto qualità prezzo, non tutto pulitissimo nei luoghi comuni.

A pleasant overnight stay

Disappointing '4*' stay.
Pros:

Location was great, only a 20 minute walk to the centre. Free parking was useful. Building itself and downstairs was lovely.

Cons:

We were VERY disappointed by the room, especially since it's meant to be a 4*. The carpet had obviously been removed and all that was left was the underlay, this was dirty and uncomfortable to walk on so we had to keep shoes on for the whole stay. The 'shower' was just a shower head in a bath that was so full on limescale, it was squirting the water in all directions. Room was very stuffy (we stayed on a cool day too) and there was only one window that opened, the other had its handle removed, the fan provided was full of dirt and dust. The whole room was outdated and the decorative pillows were very used and dirty. We were very disappointed as we were looking forwards to this stay. We did contact the hotel to discuss the matter but they were fully booked so nothing could be done.
