Pros:

Beds were Very Comfortable and quiet location

Cons:

This is not a 4 star hotel... 2 at best... the place shows a lot of wear and tear... rooms are also very dark... no a/c... poor water pressure

An amazing chateau near Omaha beach, the yard is picturesque. When we arrived the gate, we were WOW!

Pros:

The rooms were large and clean and the location was fantastic

Cons:

The staff were not helpful. They refused to serve us dinner and before us was a large group of people and the breakfast was not replenished.

Jaren geleden geweest, toen schoner, vriendelijker personeel. Totaal niet onderhouden, doorgezakt bed. Ontbijtzaal ongezellig, dozen onder buffettafel. Karig, onverzorgd en geen aardige dames

Just Perfect. I wished I had saved extra days to just stay at the property and enjoy it.
Pros:

It’s a beautiful property, we had a deluxe garden suite which was large and very comfortable. Also just a mile away from Bayeux town so we could walk to all the restaurants. Breakfast at the property is also good.

Cons:

Loved everything.

Perfect hotel with quiet country feel.
Pros:

Loved the quiet country feel. It was fun to hear the frogs croaking in the morning while walking outside. The rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was perfect.

Pros:

The evening meal was good, the staff were very helpful. The location was ideal to walk into Bayeaux and the Chateau was a very attractive building and very quiet at night.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn't very good, I expected better for a 4* hotel.

Visited 3 countries, and Chateau de Bellefontaine was by far the most beautiful place we stayed.
Pros:

Our room was beautiful, we especially enjoyed looking out on the beautiful grounds in the back and having 2 windows to catch the cross breeze at night. We appreciated that our room was provided with a cooling fan, and during the rise in temperature cooling units were placed in the hallways. The dinner was fantastic, and the seating in the dining room was superb. It was an easy 20 minute walk into the town center and shopping. A large grocery store was only a 15 minute walk.

A chateau paddling below the surface but just about keeping a brave face.
Pros:

Big grounds and old style house. Relaxed atmosphere. Good restaurant. Easy 20 minute walk into Bayeux.

Cons:

Don't park your car under the trees. Noisy and ineffective air-conditioning units in stairwell and aircon in room non-existent. .
