Smelly rooms, run down hotel. No AC, we have to cut our stay short and book elsewhere

The location. I stayed in this hotel with my partner 8 years ago and I thought I could treat my parents to a nice hotel in Ducey to visit Normandy.

Cons:

Rooms were not properly clean, and the smell in my room was unbearable. I asked for a change and they told me that the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. We decided to cut our visit short and book elsewhere for the second night as we were not going to spend more time there.

Pros:

Le cadre, la vue de la chambre. La fontaine à eau en période de canicule. Le grand choix de fromages au petit déjeuné. La propreté de la chambre sauf sols des parties communes très tachées.

Cons:

La qualité des produits proposés au petit déjeuner et bien moyenne sauf fromages. Certains membres du personnel pas très agréable surtout au petit déjeuner. N’apprécie pas les remarques pourtant fondées. La salle du repas sans climatisation impossible de manger le soir dans ces conditions. Heureusement le personnel bienveillant a bien voulu nous servir à l’extérieur. La jeune fille à la réception le soir très agréable.

Établissement choisi pour sa proximité du Mont Saint Michel, pour son rapport qualité prix.
Pros:

Son emplacement dans le village de Ducey non loin du Mont Saint Michel. Son parking. La salle de bain.

Cons:

Ne pas avoir aimé est un peu sévère mais la fille qui nous a accueilli devrait à mes yeux pouvoir nous renseigner d’avantage sur les restaurants aux alentours. On est dans un petit village, donc ce n’est pas comme s’ils y avaient 20 restaurants.
Voilà, c’est juste une petite remarque qu’il est facile de corriger.
