Lovely setting and beautifully appointed hotel, very quiet
This is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The staff was exceptional, and I was impressed more every day of my visit. My room was amazing, and I could not have picked a better room if I had done it myself. The grounds are full of delightful, thriving plants and trees. Every moment there was a treasure and I am so happy I stayed there. I will definitely return because this is such a special place.

Breakfast:no eggs included-no sliced fruit-too long waiting time for coffee. No value for money.
Room smelled bad-musty smell-own clothes had same musty smell after 5 days in the room. Some sockets were not working. No wardrobe in the room. Sometimes no service at the pool. Overrated. Shabby towels and bathrobes.
While the staff was very attentive, there was not enough staff. There was only one waitress on the terrace and in the dining room. She could not be expected to meet all the guests needs.
Ein wirklich schönes Chateau. Zimmer sehr in Ordnung. Personal sehr freundlich.
Das Chateau liegt in direkter Nähe zur Autobahn. Dadurch war es außen verhältnismäßig "laut". Im Zimmer war aber auch gar nichts davon zu hören - außerdem hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Fenster an der "abgewandten" Seite und da haben wir auch mit offenem Fenster geschlafen - und wir sind sehr sensibel.
Kleine Renovierungsarbeiten würde das Gästehaus auch schon wieder vertragen. Und vor allem wären Gelsengitter im Fenster wunderbar.
