Generalnie pobyt bardzo udany, ale klimatyzację trzeba naprawić.

Wyśmienite śniadania, dobry pokój, bardzo dobry parking na terenie hotelu, przechowalnia rowerów wszystko było bardzo dobre. czystość bardzo dobra.

Endless card processing problems, resulting in us paying more. Not ok.
Cons:

We booked this stay in advance, using a card which worked for all other booking.com bookings. For some reason it was deemed invalid, we had to re-book, pay a higher rate. Neither hotel or booking.com able explain this. Not impressed. (To re-book I used another card whch was also refused despite being active- there seems to be a technical fault which nobody is taking responsibility for and we ended up paying more because of it, still trying get booking.com to acknowledge this).

good location, friendly staff and a comfortable bed
Pros:

The receptionist when i arrived was very helpful. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

The bed was large and comfortable.

Cons:

They don't serve food in the evening and after a 6 hour drive, i would have preferred to eat there, rather than walk for 15 mins into town. But that's just nit picking, it wasn't a big problem.

Visita al castello di Amboise
Pros:

L’hotel è situato fuori dal centro di Amboise, si può raggiungere con una camminata di 25 minuti. La nostra camera era grande e comoda, il bagno grande anch’esso ed era predisposto per le persone con disabilità. La colazione è stata strepitosa, tutto molto buono. Parcheggio nella struttura gratuito

Zeer teleurstellende ervaring

De dame in het hotel was vriendelijk.

Een van de slechtste hotelervaringen die ik ooit heb gehad.

Bij aankomst bleek mijn kamer direct naast de lift te liggen. In de kamer was de lift voortdurend duidelijk hoorbaar. Voor mij was dat onacceptabel, dus ik ben direct terug naar de receptie gegaan met de vraag of er een rustigere kamer beschikbaar was.
Helaas bleek het hotel volledig volgeboekt te zijn en was er geen andere kamer beschikbaar. Dat kan natuurlijk gebeuren, maar voor mij betekende dit dat ik onmogelijk een rustige nacht zou hebben. Daarom heb ik besloten direct te vertrekken en een ander hotel te boeken.

Wat ik echt onbegrijpelijk vind, is dat het hotel vervolgens het volledige bedrag in rekening heeft gebracht, terwijl ik de kamer niet heb gebruikt en er geen minuut heb geslapen. Ik ben vrijwel direct na het inchecken vertrokken omdat het hotel geen alternatief kon bieden.

Daarnaast vond ik de algemene staat van het hotel zwaar onder de maat. Het gebouw oogt verouderd en straalt absoluut niet de kwaliteit uit die je van een Best Western mag verwachten.

Ik begrijp dat een volgeboekt hotel niet zomaar een andere kamer kan aanbieden. Maar in een situatie waarin een gast direct vertrekt omdat er geen passende oplossing mogelijk is, had ik veel meer coulance verwacht. Nu betaal ik de volledige prijs voor een verblijf waarvan ik geen gebruik heb gemaakt én moest ik op eigen kosten een ander hotel boeken.

Voor mij een enorme teleurstelling en een ervaring die totaal niet past bij wat ik van het Best Western-merk verwacht. Ik zal hier niet meer terugkomen.

Location and staff great.
Pros:

Very good location for getting into town. very helpful staff.

Cons:

The staff were excellent. Unfortunately we stayed during the 'heat dome; ' recently (temp 42 degrees). The staff emailed us to say that the air conditioning had partly broken and could not get any lower than 30 degrees. They provided us with chilled water and fans. I learnt that when the staff raised the problem with the owner of this Best Western franchise, she was very dismissive and said "sorry, sort it out yourselves, I'm on holiday!!" , I think Best Western and Booking.com had better 'have a chat with the owner' about her management and treatment of guests and staff.!!

Pros:

Très bel hôtel, bien situé et accessible. Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit mais je reviendrais sûrement et je n'hésiterais pas à y passer un séjour plus long. Le personnel est très chaleureux et sympathique.
