Wonderful stay at La Badia Hotel
Pros:

Exceptional, family run hotel with lots of character. If you prefer something alternative to the large chain, corporate run hotels, then this hotel is for you. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Room was perfect for our trip. Breath-taking views across the Sorrento bay. Lovely relaxing swimming pool with excellent loungers and convenient bar service. Excellent time at La Badia hotel

A lovely stay on top of the hill overlooking Vesuvius
Pros:

The location was beautiful, incredible views of the bay, and even Vesuvius on the other side. Both the reception staff as well as the breakfast attendants were amazing. I absolutely love this place, and would definitely recommend it.

Cons:

The only reason I'm giving it a 9/10 is that not even the shutters together with the blackout curtains could keep the sun out in the morning, and it was very very bright (for my liking) from early morning. On the other hand, good motivation to wake up early and seize the day!

Buena ubicación pero cansadora la subida especialmente con el calor del verano

Cons:

Los baños un poco antiguos pero bien.
Pocos enchufes en la pieza para cargar celular.
Queríamos una cama queen/king y nos juntaron dos camas de plaza y media para hacer una grande.

I would definitely return, but would ask for a better room.
Pros:

The location is beautiful and since it is in the middle of an olive grove, it is peaceful and quiet. Many small corners for a relaxing escape to read or exercise or ..... Beautiful gardens. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would like to praise one of the staff at the bar who gave some great recommendations - which beach to visit or a great little trattoria in town for dinner where the locals eat. I wish I knew his name to provide direct praise.

Cons:

The size of the room, the fixtures and windows as we had a room in the attic part of the building. But considering the price was reasonable and the location was great and the staff was helpful, the room itself did not make that much of a factor

11/10 - Perfect Stay
Pros:

Absolutely stunning property! We opted for a room overlooking the coastline and it was BEAUTIFUL. Looks just like the pictures.
The staff were all so friendly and happy to help: we felt really at home and safe staying at Hotel La Badia. The pool area was clean and it was all super chilled.

A lot of the hotels in the hills have shuttle buses into Sorrento, which La Badia didn’t have, but there are local buses that the lovely staff give you a timetable for! Just be prepared for some gentle hills and steps to the hotel! :)

Cons:

There was very little to dislike about the property, it was incredible!

Pros:

Beautiful hotel, quiet and amazing views. Staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

The walk up and down the hill to Sorrento centre was difficult in the heat and I would not recommend if you are not fit but the hotel did make this clear so we knew what to expect and there are options to get picked up to a number of local restaurants which the hotel organised for us when we were too tired to walk in.

Wonderful
Pros:

The pool was amazing - the views were great. Breakfast was great and staff were nice. Rooms were comfortable and the air con was wonderful - I’d definitely stay here again

Fair review for travellers - think before you book
Pros:

The hotel staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. They will book taxis, restaurants
The beds were so comfy and the view with an upgrade amazing. The hotel pool is stunning with Continuous 360 back drops and stunning rural setting
Omg super clean

Cons:

No dinner service
No snacks / tea and coffee facilities once bar closes at 10.30pm and non in room
Bad location for people wanting to explore the town of Sorrento it's 15 mins to the hospital which is pretty central down hill but up hill... Wow
Maybe need to offer hourly shuttle in the early mornings and evenings
Bathroom was tiny and absolutely nothing going on it the evening

Super Lage, ruhig, abgelegen, aber zu Fuss ist das Zentrum trotzdem in ca. 15-20 Minuten erreichbar.
