Amazing experience, Andrea made us feel so welcome, advised us on where to go for our meal and interacted with us in the evening, ensuring we had an amazing time! Would recommend this hostel to anyone who is planning to stay in Bologna, excellent staff!!
This hotel has now opened as Ostello Bello. We were there on the opening day and although there some last minute decorating going on when we checked in, the overall vibe of the place was fantastic. The staff were amazing- really friendly and helpful not to mention the free beer and aperotivo due to the last minute works. The rooms are really comfortable, clean and well presented and there is a very welcoming lounge space with a retro music vibe that is perfect for a morning chill or an evening party. Only a short walk into Bologna - we would definitely stay here again
Literally just opened the day before so a couple of small issues which were dealt with promptly but will definitely be ironed out soon. Staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. Great hostel/hotel with a good vibe. I’m sure it will only get better with time. Highly recommend a stay here for all ages.

There was renovation in the hotel and it was july. So there was dust everywhere. Also noise. The room was small.
Location was good and staff was amazingly nice and helpfull.
Hotel was under major renovation works. Information about the renovations before our trip was poor. The ecxess of the renovations unfolded only just when we arrived at the hotel. We were offered a full refund on the day we arrived at Bologna (buy email) and after we checked in so at that point iit would have been impossible to find a new lodging. So we stayed. Also there was no TV, no mini-fridge that was in the rooms details when we booked the room.
But it was nice that we were offered a discount on the room without asking.
We had a great stay at this hotel.
The staff were so friendly and very helpful especially Andrea Arru.
We did arrive when the hotel was under renovations which really did not affect our rooms and they were speedy quick doing the renovations elsewhere.
The restaurant was not open while we were there, which would of been nice.
The location of the hotel was perfect for walking.

Hotel is being completely gutted almost. There is so much work going on, to the point that when I arrived i wasn't even sure it was open! Wish I'd been told before I arrived.
But it's only from 8am-6pm so it's fine if you're out all day.
But work men need to not smoke in corridor. I could smell it in my room.
We went at the end of July and the Hotel was undergoing renovations. We had booked a 2-bed room for 4 nights. Due to the noise from the work, they changed our accommodation. The new one it was further from the center but very close to the train station. They also offered us breakfast at no extra charge. In general, all the people were very helpful and willing to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Very nice staff, excellent location and great value for money. The room was very clean and comfortable, and free water was available.
The hotel is undergoing refurbishment so the reception area was chaotic. This also meant there was no bar for guests to enjoy. The room would also benefit from a TV.
Hotel staff were very nice and helpful, especially considering the situation. They also reduced the price by 40% at check out, which we highly appreciated considering the circumstances. Room itself was not bad - just not what we expected at all
The hotel was under renovations and in process of switching from a hotel into a hostel. The entire place was under construction and a complete mess - full of dust, workers walking in and out and talking loudly, and generally looked horrible. Upon checking in, the staff informed us that due to the hotel changing to a hostel, our room was changed from a hotel room to a room with bunk beds. He asked whether we were ok with this - we had no choice but to accept as it was far too late to find another hotel, plus we were only staying from one night. From inside, we could head loud construction noises and talking from the corridor and could not relax. We were extremely disappointed as we were looking forward to a relaxing holiday stay and were met with this - the least the hosts could have done is informed us about the changes before our stay.

Major renovations with dust and wires everywhere, unsafe. One of us with one lung got quite unwell from all the dust. Staff were apologetic, and the man at reception handled it well. They halved the cost, but it wasn’t about the money. We should have been informed beforehand. We would have rated a little higher if not for the renos.

Building work in progress made the stair case a bit messy but fun
Due to renovation works at the Hotel, we were moved across the street to Hotel Atlantic, a staff personally escorted us there and got us booked in !!
Amazing customer service from both hotels thankyou.
The hotel was under extensive renovation works and it was impossible to host people in such noisy and dirty conditions.We initially complained about this but since there was no solution to the problem,we had to find another hotel late in the afternoon by ourselves as it was really annoying.This frustrating experience ruined part of our holiday!
