Beware the Stairs. Don’t bring rolling luggage!

It was on the Mont.

Cons:

We thought we had booked at the main hotel, near the main gate. I booked this hotel purposefully to avoid having to climb far up into the town. However, we learned that we had actually booked at a satellite location, the annex, which was up many many, many many stairs. Booking.com needs to do a better job of making clear that the hotel has many different properties, so you need to be careful to ensure you are booking the property you want!

Se andavo in un ostello era molto meglio
Dalle fotografie viste sul sito era un altro albergo.
Camera fatiscente, odore di muffa, fare la doccia nella vasca era da equilibrista, a dimenticavo la mia camera non era nell’’albergo ma in una dependance ma credo anche molte altre camere
Colazione , lasciamo perdere….
Fate attenzione l’albergo si trova all’interno del Monte, dovete lasciare la macchina nei parcheggi, trascinare i bagagli al bus che vi porta all’entrata del Monte e trascinare i bagagli fino all’hotel, stessa cosa anche quando si riparte. NON C’È SERVIZIO
IL PARCHEGGIO SI PAGA , il bus gratis.
Booking dovrebbe controllare prima di dare stelle, immagini e prezzi che non rappresentano i servizi.

Cons:

Krap toilet en badkamer, raam kon niet ooen i.v.m. kamer lag boven de keuken, waardoor alle kookluchten de kamer in kwam. Airco nog niet in werking, dus warm in de kamer. Werd opgelost met losse ventilator.
Kamer 2e dag niet schoon gemaakt.

Experience Mont St. Michel up close
Pros:

This hotel has very tiny rooms with twin beds, but clean.
Mattress is comfy. There are shower and electric coffee pot.

Elenora in reception helped us check in and gave us a room on the top floor which it was too much for us to climb with suitcases (get small bag) the island doesn't need more that a night here.
We arrived evening for the first night and we had to stay 2 nights because we had a long drive the next day.
Breakfast is not included. You have to pay for breakfast.
There are 2 restaurants under the hotel for dinner only.
The stay was pleasant but the space is too small for 2 people.
If you want the island experience this is ok but next time I would stay outside the island.

Pros:

Auberg Saint Pierre has several properties all located in the central part of Mont Saint Michel. Quiet, quaint, great place to stay and explore the beautiful place in the morning and evening when the streets are quiet.

Cons:

As expected, you have to walk up cobblestone streets and stairs to arrive at the hotel. Pack light. Consider storing your suitcase in Paris and travelling here with a small backpack or overnight bag.
