We had a wonderful time.
Pros:

The fact that there was a pool, the pool was really nice and had an awesome view of the Tuscan countryside. The staff was also really nice and enthusiastically helped us try and find different channels on the TV.

This is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay
Pros:

the hotel is in a great location, Montelcino is a great place to visit, we were in one of the rooms not part of the main building. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The wee pool is nice.

The window of my room opened directly onto the street, so I had to keep it closed the entire time and felt like I was staying in a cell. Considering that I paid €136.08 for the room, I'm wondering if I was given one of the worst rooms because I booked through Booking.com. Could you please explain?

Wunderbare entspannende Tage in Montalcino!
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft, man ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum. Der Pool, und die Terrasse sind wunderschön gelegen mit toller Aussicht, alles sehr entspannend. Das Personal ist durchwegs sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Parkplatzsituation ist in der Altstadt nicht einfach, wurde aber zufriedenstellend gelöst. Das Hotel ist sicher schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber viel Atmosphäre.

Incredible stay in a beautiful property with unparalleled view.
Pros:

The view is spectacular from the rooms, restaurant and the pool. Very authentic and build traditional. Staff is super friendly.

Cons:

Bathroom is too small and shower is very tiny but if you want the best view in a great location and use the shower for cleaning not for an experience it is absolutely compensating.

Amazing view
Pros:

Beautiful views, comfortable and clean room. Superb breakfast staff and swimming pool.

Cons:

Can’t fault anything. As they point out in literature the hotel is less suitable for less able people as it is built on a hill side. It is a short steep walk to level ground when walking into the town centre. There is a lift in the hotel.

Pros:

I could not fault this hotel. Amazing view, lovely pool, great breakfast, very clean, great room and lovely, helpful staff. Will plan to stay again and recommend to everyone visiting the area. We were able to park on the street outside as we were there at the weekend. The street leading from the hotel into town is a bit of a climb, but typically of a hilltop town.

Ottima esperienza. La piscina è il vero fiore all'occhiello della struttura e la colazione è eccellente, con ampia scelta. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la gentilezza del personale: una sera, a causa della pioggia, ci hanno persino offerto degli ombrelli. Piccoli gesti che fanno la differenza. Consigliatissimo!!

Cons:

L'unica piccola difficoltà riguarda il parcheggio: arrivando per la prima volta non è immediato capire dove lasciare l'auto. Una volta presa confidenza con la zona, però, si trovano diversi parcheggi a pagamento molto comodi nelle vicinanze.
Se dovessi suggerire un miglioramento, consiglierei di fornire indicazioni più precise su come raggiungere l'hotel. Nel nostro caso, Google Maps ci ha fatto percorrere una strada piuttosto tortuosa e poco piacevole, che potrebbe non essere adatta a tutti i veicoli o a chi soffre l'auto. Sarebbe utile indicare il percorso alternativo più comodo e agevole.

Una vista impagabile, bellissima terrazza e piscina
Pros:

Una struttura con i spazi comuni fantastici, senza paragoni. La vista dalla terrazza mozzafiato, piscina spettacolare, anche molto profonda. Piacevole l'aperitivo al tramonto, buona colazione. Staff molto gentile e simpatico.

Cons:

Le camere sono ok, la nostra non era grandissima, i bagni non recentissimi.
