Our stay was a simple 24 hour respite after country wedding. It was quiet. Beautiful. Tranquil. We dined at the 3 star Michelin restaurant on site. It was mindblowing! What a fabulous stay we had. Thank you!
Fantastic hotel. Have stayed there several times and service quality has always been spotless. Food out of this world and delicious with high quality rooms. Thank you.
luxury trendy hotel style in garden envirement . Excellent breakfast, wonderfull swimming pooi, very profesionnal and efficient staff.
A wonderful location and property close to the centre of Reims. Peaceful rooms and gardens, paired with amazing gastronomic experiences.
We have stayed at a few different hotels in the Champagne area, and this was by far the best of them. The staff is so warm and friendly, the rooms are incredibly spacious and offers perhaps the BEST bed. It’s like sleeping inside of a cloud. Breakfast was great - I’d fly back just to have their croissants. Do NOT miss dinner - a true Michelin 3* dining experience. Thanks to the Lallemont team for their extraordinary hospitality.
Fantastic in every way
Lovely hotel
Incredible experience on every level. Simply a must stay if in champagne region!
Originally we wanted to stay in Reims city centre, but given we also wanted to try the 3-star restaurant in Reims, we decided to stay on-site. The staff were friendly and helpful, they gifted us a bottle of free champagne and the food was divine! The only caveat is that there is no one working in the reception early in the morning. We had a very early (7:25am) TGV ride back to CDG airport and we were shocked that no one was at reception at 6:45am in the morning. Thankfully someone did show up at 7am and we swiped our credit card in 2 mins and left! Make sure you check with the front desk staff if you have to leave early in the morning!
A wonderful boutique property. The service was wonderful and possibly the best breakfast I have had in my entire life! I was unable to eat at the Michelin star restaurant; gives me a reason to go back. Truly a wonderful stay.
Spacious modern rooms with lovely amenities and absolutely excellent staff. Restaurant is, as they say in the Guide, worth a detour as well.
When we finally found the hotel due to GPS navigation, we wished we had a more extended stay
I stayed here with my wife for a few days as we wanted to visit Verdun and other parts of the region. Exceptional staff throughout. The Michelin starred restaurant is superb. The hotel isn't cheap, but with everything it offers, it shouldn't be either. Loved it here. Hoping to return soon.
From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel like we didn’t exist. They didn’t even get us a reservation in the hotels own restaurant even though we asked 1 month in advance. The staff did not say bonjour or even look up when we arrived. We asked for them to assist us with bookings and they were not helpful at all. If staying in this region Domaines Les Crayères is the best of the best. They were not available this year and unfortunately we choose this hotel. We will not make that mistake again. If you are not French, do not bother unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen.
If you are lucky in life, then one time for a special occasion, you will able to push the boat out and take a trip to L’assiette Champenoise in Reims, Champagne.
You take a left through the entrance of the hotel and drive your car around to the front of the Reception.
From that moment on you are made to feel like a film star.
Simply the greatest check in ever, you are asked to confirm your name, you then walk straight past reception, get given a short tour of the hotel, before being shown to your truly wonderful room.
Waiting for you is in your room is couple of small sweets and half a bottle of Champagne.
Perfect after a long drive.
We chose the junior suite, the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in, lovely bathroom, everything works and everything is perfect, the only thing that could improve it would be a small sink near the toilet, but other than that it was faultless.
5 minutes later your luggage arrives and is all placed in your dressing room without you having to lift a finger.
A trip up to Reims for the incredible light show, then the next morning we went for the hotel breakfast.
Everything you could possibly wish for, fantastic coffee, lovely bread, excellent pastries, delightful cheese, exceptional cured meats, very fresh Jams.
Then to finish off we had Eggs Benedict or should I say the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had.
Could this get any better?
Well yes it could, our chef arrived around every single persons table and asked us if everything was ok, it was better than ok and we shared our pleasure with him.
In the evening as our 25th anniversary treat we had booked into Arnaud Lallement’s 3 Star Michelin Restaurant.
Some incredible dishes were served, the tomato course was served with a side of Confit Tomato and has got to be one of the most incredible flavours I have ever put in my mouth.
Then to top that the next course was caviar with foam potato and to top it off was paired with an exceptional glass of Krug Champagne.
Then came the jaw dropping moment, as the fish course came round we was greeted at our table by non other than the man himself, Arnaud Lallement, he put the final touches to the dish, how many times in your life will you be shown this courtesy? this is what Michelin should never have moved away from, to hold and retain 3 stars you should be behind the stove (most of the time) and be leading your team, just magnificent.
The meal was faultless from start to finish, the service was like a symphony.
We spent 3 nights at the hotel and loved every minute of it.
We simply couldn’t find any fault.
I am sure others may, but for us this was a truly memorable experience, every member of staff were incredible and Arnaud Lallement was the icing on the cake.
I just hope we can return again.
Truly Wonderful, Thank You
Exceptional hotel, rooms amazing, pool is lovely and the restaurant (expensive!) but incredible. A great place for a treat
An amazing relaxing oasis on our way from Calais to Le Sud. We will return
Our 5th visit to this amazing Hotel. The facility and service is second to none!!!
Amazing hotel. Slight issue with the water pressure on the shower but I’m sure it will b fine after the renovation. Will b back !
Recent stay of three nights, one of which we ate in the hotel restaurant. First up, breakfast. Used to be buffet style apparently but now table service, except it should be termed sporadic service. Very poor.
Balcony suite booked was just about adequate, as it should be for a touch under a thousand Euros a night.
Finally, the restaurant. Is it forbidden for staff to smile once a place has 3 stars? Robotic automatons. Food wise, had to return one dish (not very brill Brill) Just mush. Severe disappointment, they really don’t seem to be as good as they think they are. Dinner the following evening at Le Foch in Reims much more enjoyable. And they smile…
