Hôtel d'Espagne

We had a great stay for 5 nights in a twin room. Staff service, location and surrounds were amazing. Good food options (Land & Monkeys have great food and coffee!) close by and metro, which we only used once, was handy. It was a little noisy in the lane sometimes with wheelie bins early in the morning but that didn’t detract from our stay. Shower was a bit small/awkward however water pressure was excellent!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, walkable to Grands Boulevards train station and Louvre museum.

The hotel is in a great location. There’s plenty of restaurants nearby. The closest subway is about a 5 minute walk. The room itself was perfect. There was plenty of space in the room and the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff were so helpful and polite. Room basic - expected for the rate we paid - but clean and housekeeping came even though we vacated our room late (well deserved sleep in!) The hotel is in a quiet spot but in a great area with lively bars and good restaurants nearby.

We like this area of Paris and were looking to stay there. The hotel we normally stay at was all booked and we decided to stay at Hotel D’Espagna instead. Rooms are smalll but that’s expected. The hotel served breakfast but we didn’t try it. No major complaints but we knew what to expect. We liked our stay.

The louvre is within walkable distance if you are able-bodied. Rooms are small for 4 people. Would be perfect for two.

Hotel was good. We travelled for leisure and it suited our requirements. Had a quad room which was comfortable.

Much better than expected due to a quiet and spacious room at the top of the hotel and friendly staff.

The elevator is until the 4th floor, in order to get into rooms in the 5th floor you have to climb stairs, with or without your luggage.
The hotel is in a narrow street that some vehicles do not enter, so you have to walk about 100-200 meters.
The heating did not work on one day, there was no backup heating, we were given extra blankets. The next day the problem was solved👍
The staff was polite and nlce, thanks to all of them.

Terrible stay for two days. Arrived at 8:30pm check in. Was given a fob as a key to the room for #208. After cramming into the elevator and opening the door, it was someone else’s room with all their belongings. The front desk agent barely acknowledges the error and gives us room #207 with a sticky note. The room did not have a working phone and there was no other security lock or deadbolt to the door. When we put a sign on the door for no cleaning, they came into our room anyways and made the bed but did not take out the trash or refresh our towels

This was our 2nd stay here. We booked it for both price and location. Additionally we like the restaurant that was across the street on our first stay in 2022. A different restaurant is in that location now but we did not try it. Would definitely come back to the Hôtel d'Espagne.

Located one block from Grand Boulevard and a metro station, this hotel was close to dining, shopping and just a 20 minute walk to The Louvre. The property also included air conditioning, an elevator and an English speaking staff. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel in a quiet street just round the corner from a busier area with fantastic restaurants and bakeries. Staff very friendly and room was nice.

My room had been upgraded on arrival but it smelt strongley of smoke so I asked to move to another room. Hard to believe that a guest would be expected to accept this room! A staff member at the breakfast buffet was rude and unhelpful. Apart from this the accommodation was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location.
