The room was fantastic with windows overlooking the plaza and another cross street. There was a corridor separating the room door from the sleeping area, so we never heard anyone in the hallway. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was convenient and split into a separate toilet and shower area with a sink and mirror in between.
I don't recall anything that I did not like.
The location was fantastic. An easy walk to everything. The car was valet parked. We cannot wait to return as the staff were so helpful and went beyond our expectations. This was the most relaxing of our long trip.

Bom dia. Esta avaliação resulta dum atendimento que achei incorrecto. Estava em Pamplona para fazer um check up e tinha necessidade de ficar mais um dia. O hotel aonde estava não tinha lugar e antes de fazer a reserva de avião, decidi ver que outros hoteis tinham disponibilidade e fiz a reserva. Cinco minutos depois contactei a IBERIA e comunicaram-me que não tinham lugar no voo para o dia seguinte. Em função disso, decidi cancelar a reserva, que fiz meia hora depois e disseram-me que não podiam cancelar sem custos, porque cancelei fora do prazo. Ora, se eu tinha acabado de fazer a reserva. Admito que teria que pagar alguma penalização, mas cobrarem a totalidade da diária, acho ser desonesto, nas circunstâncias em que fiz a reserva. Esta atitude, faz -me repensar se voltarei ao La Perla, considerando que vou a Pamplona regularmente. Muito obrigada

La falta de empatía del hotel, del personal, de la organización, un hotel 5 estrellas va mucho más allá de los jarrones bonitos, el Lujo se basa en el servicio, en la atención al cliente, y este hotel desconoce completamente la esencia de la calidad en el servicio, en Pamplona hay otras muchas opciones que tratan al cliente con mucha más empatía y educación.
Right away I noticed the attention to detail at the Gran Hotel La Perla. The staff was exceptional! Our room was very comfortable. It had everything we needed including bottles of water, local candies and mats by the bed for wiping our feet. We slept great and had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. The location is great! We walked everywhere and enjoyed the energy in the square outside the hotel. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting the room that Hemingway slept in which has been kept exactly the same through the years. We were lucky enough to meet the 4th generation owner of the hotel who took us on a tour of the room and shared the very interesting history of the La Perla and Pamplona. What a treat! We would definitely stay here again!

For the money paid definitely not a 5 star hotel. Room decor tired belongs in the 1970s and breakfast lacking in selection.
Complained about room on first day only to receive a puzzled response from staff.
Needs a serious revamp of furnishings both in rooms and in hotel in general.
Location was perfect but be prepared to have some difficulty finding location.
A special occasion for our stay sadly ruined by disappointment in hotel selection.
