RH Bayren Hotel & Spa

We have just returned from a lovely 11 night stay at the RH Bayren and Spa, having spent a very relaxing break there. Our room (205) was spotlessly clean with a super sunny balcony giving us beautiful sea and beach views. The absolutely best thing about the hotel (apart from the food and its location) was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. Tanio on reception checked us in very efficiently and then organised a kettle for us and later provided a map, showing us where the nearest bus-stop was. Cristina helpfully organised a fan when we mentioned that our room was actually too hot and Xavi arranged for a late check-out on our departure day. It was all very helpful and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The restaurant staff were also very attentive and brought water and wine quickly at dinner. (Another bonus of the RH hotels is that wine and water are free with meals for over 60s if you are signed up and book direct).
Obviously, there are one or two issues which were a slight bother (some noisy guests disturbed us at night time on a couple of occasions and dinner was later than we would prefer) and it was very busy, especially with large cycling teams, but for the amount we paid, this hotel is a real gem and we would be more than happy to return another time, although maybe our next trip will be to the RH hotel at Peniscola as recommended by the lovely barman (Manuel)!

Our stay was truly unforgettable. The rooftop is absolutely stunning, offering spectacular views that make you pause and simply enjoy the moment. But what really made the experience exceptional was Rober. His kindness, warmth, and genuine care went far beyond expectations — he made us feel not just welcomed, but truly looked after. The level of service throughout our stay was outstanding, thoughtful, and full of heart. We leave with beautiful memories and a strong desire to return.

Hicimos la post boda en la azotea Moon del hotel. Aunque el clima no fue muy bueno, el personal fue extremadamente atento y nos mantuvo informados en todo momento. Lamentablemente, hubo tormenta por un corto tiempo y tuvimos que mover la fiesta a una sala, pero en cuanto el clima mejoró, el personal nos llevó de vuelta a la azotea lo antes posible para disfrutar de las vistas increíbles. La comida fue abundante y deliciosa. El equipo de Gema fue increible, nos trataron como en casa. Si hacemos otro evento en el futuro, no dudaremos en contactar con ellos.

We had our Day 2 of our wedding at the Moon rooftop of the hotel. Although the weather wasn’t great, the staff was extremely attentive and kept us informed at all times. Unfortunately, there was a storm for a short while and we had to move the party indoors, but as soon as the weather improved, the staff took us back up to the rooftop as quickly as possible so we could enjoy the incredible views. The food was plentiful and delicious. Gema’s team was amazing — they made us feel right at home. If we host another event in the future, we won’t hesitate to contact them.

I enjoyed the massage a lot. Allison did a great job and the atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. For me it was a 9/10 because I would have preferred a longer head massage part instead of longer time of leg massage. But i recommend it anyways - it was great!

Absolutely amazing hotel! Very convenient right on the beach!
We stayed in a suite and we had the best view . The food was good and everyone in the hotel were very nice and very professional.
The only surprise, was that a very few people spoke English. Thank god with google translate!

I had a massage at the spa that was perfect. Relaxing yet got rid of the knots in my back. Thank you Deli.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel and left with big smiles (and probably a few extra pounds from all the amazing food). Everything was spot-on — from the spotless, comfy room to the sparkling clean pool. The staff were wonderfully attentive, and the food was excellent every single day. The maids who looked after our room deserve a raise, and the pool guy might just be the hardest working person we’ve ever seen — always zooming around fixing things, finding spare sunbeds, and magically producing umbrellas during the busy hours.

The beach was spotless, and the short stroll to get there was an absolute joy. We loved that the place had a real Spanish holiday vibe — lots of local families and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The cocktails at the pool bar were a highlight: tasty, generous, and at around €10 each, not too bad for hotel prices.

It was high season, so yes, sometimes finding a pool chair was a bit of a sport, but the pool guy’s speed made it almost entertaining. The only minor downside was that the internet could be a tad sluggish — but honestly, we weren’t here to stream movies; we were too busy enjoying ourselves.

This isn’t the cheapest hotel, but the quality, service, and atmosphere make it worth every euro. We’re already planning our return next year!

El buffet es de los mejores que he probad, una pasada.
Lo único que no me gusto es que el aire acondicionado goteaba y tuvimos que poner una toalla para que no sonara caer la gota. Se hizo una bomba de agua en la pintura.

The pool bar is very special. Rodolfo made me a Negroni like few times I have ever tried in addition to he came to me and showed mindedness appreciation and customer service about the hotel.

Overall, our stay was good, but there were several issues that affected our experience.

We were initially given the wrong room, which was too small and uncomfortable, lacking adequate wardrobe space or drawers. Fortunately, after raising a complaint, we were moved to a better room, which improved our stay significantly.

Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent, and the pool was clean and enjoyable, though unfortunately too small and shallow for my liking.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, but clearer information regarding access to the beach area would have been helpful.

Both breakfast and dinner at the hotel were of good quality, with a nice variety. However, I was disappointed with the fish, which didn’t meet my expectations.

The entertainment provided was great, but the venue was too small to comfortably accommodate all guests. At times, we found ourselves seated in the opposite direction of the performers, which took away from the experience.

While the reception staff were polite, but sometimes we felt a general lack of warmth, kindness, and empathy, particularly from one staff member named Tanio, who was unhelpful in assisting us with access to the tennis table. Despite what was advertised, we had no opportunity to play ping pong during our stay.

The hotel bikes were a nice feature, though they could use more maintenance and an update.
