Practically Perfect.
Pros:

Warm welcome, professional staff, easy to access allocated parking and the hotel from the car park. Spacious bedroom, large bed, a good night’s sleep as good insulation. A generous shower room, plenty of hot water and a heated towel rail. There were treats for the dog, who was also made welcome.
Breakfast was exceptional in the range and freshness of produce. It’s a short walk to the seafront one way, the commercial area the other.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike.

Hotel Carlton - fantastic stay!
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The room was very nice, good size with a very comfy bed and pillows. Great black out curtains and the hotel was in a really nice quiet area. Nice location for exploring the coast line with the train station and bus stops within a 2 minute walk and the coastal walk easily accessed from the hotel. The whole place was really clean and the pool was an added bonus!

You could hear the doors open and close on other hotel rooms but never woke us up
