Paradise for gourmet and gourmand
Pros:

Auberge de noves is definitely beautiful and so much history to talk about the place. Location is in a nice spot and very calm. Atmosphere is great there and you enjoy tranquility, the team is great and very hospitable. The nicest food I ever had for sure and the restaurant offers exceptional highest quality of wine from the cellar. Rich Provençal food with tasty olive oil, the best fougasse, lovely selection of cheese, Chef Frederic is great and Chef Robert is the best chef ever. Ivan the Maître D’Hotel is very knowledgeable and so professional. Iman at the Front office was very kind. Great place to stay and it is for gourmand and gourmet.

Encantador para disfrutar de Toda Provenza
Pros:

Pros:

This is an old church maybe a Monastery, unique place. Good hiking short ride to town. Rooms are adequate.
Could use a snack bar. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and it is good.

Hotel not 4 star but staff definitely are!
Pros:

We spent two nights at LÁuberge de Noves with Secret Escapes which included a Pleasant Double room and breakfast.

We arrived just after 16.00 (check in from 15.00). No one on reception and just one chap milling around who was a waiter for the restaurant. Lovely chap but did not speak much English (not his fault) and so his role was limited to basically handing us a key and showing us our room.

Initially we were shown room 24 in the chapel building which can only be accessed via a small lift it seems. We did ask for a room on the ground floor prior to arrival and this was acknowledged and agreed by reception in advance so clearly something was lost in translation.

In our limited French we managed to glean from the waiter that the receptionist had gone home and would not be back until 19.00 that evening so any issues or questions would have to wait until then. We thought the receptionist may have been called away due to an emergency which is fair enough however we observed during the rest of our stay that reception is essentially unmanned from about 15.00/15.30 which did seem rather strange as this is the peak period when guests are supposed to arrive and any potential issues are likely to occur!

Anyway the chap went away and called someone and we were eventually shown to room 17 which is a ground floor room with small balcony in the main building.

The room was huge. Key code safe, loads of storage, TV (small and not with great reception), tea/coffee facilities, sofa/chairs, garden furniture. The room looked very tired. There was clearly signs of water ingress from a leak upstairs and it just looked really dated. Wifi does not reach from reception (it is an old building so to be expected) but there was no guide in the room as to facilities at the hotel, breakfast timings etc etc so you basically just had to work stuff out as you went along. The shower did not work brilliantly and the sofa was broken.

The main reception area of the hotel and dining room are really smart as is the pool area. It is unmanned and seemingly open 24 hours a day. It is heated.

Breakfast is served at your table and the outdoor area is beautiful on the terrace. A simple affair but very nice, fruit to start then pastries and egg with tea/coffee and fruit juice. The staff at breakfast were amazing and really transformed our view of the hotel. So helpful and nothing too much trouble.

We did not have dinner or lunch at the hotel but the former was always very busy.

On our second day our room was not made up after breakfast. I mentioned this to reception around 15.00/15.30 and was told it would be done shortly. Fast forward to 17.00 and it was still not done. Called reception and the waiter chap picked up (receptionist gone home again!) and was told the cleaners had gone home too so the room could not be done that day. Less than 30 minutes later a knock at the door and an apologetic cleaner turned up and the room was done but it was clear we had been forgotten on the morning rounds.

To conclude, beautiful hotel in a stunning location and grounds. Staff were excellent but the hotel lets itself down not doing the simple things unfortunately. Perfectly nice place to stay but not 4* in my opinion.

Love, love, love!!!
Pros:

A charming hotel in the heart of Provence, I cannot say enough good things about the experience! The property is gorgeous, like something out of a Disney movie. Our 3-hour dinner was an experience beyond compare on every level (delicious, beautiful, and a surprise and delight, course after amazing course). The staff went out of their way to make us and everyone around us feel special. It was easy to travel to and from the US (we got a Covid test for return travel at the nearby Noves pharmacy - walk in and results in 20 minutes). Enchanting, magical experience and a very special place. Highest recommendation.

Exceptional hotel, food, service, experience
Pros:

Amazing 3-days! Loved this place. Blown away by the beauty and charm of the hotel and property. Best food and dining experience I've ever had (owner/chef is Michelin starred Robert Lalleman). Wonderful service, my daughter and I were treated like family, truly felt 'at home'. I have traveled the world and stayed in many 5-stars but this little gem is now my favorite destination. I will be back!

An old school hotel restaurant bed and breakfast in the heart of Provence!

Comfy accomodation is a bit expensive but the the wine list extraordinary and old! Eat simply and avoid seafood if possible!

Old world charm in a beautiful setting.

Great place. Beautiful hotel. Amazing restaurant. It is just sad that the AC system doesn’t work. It is clearly old so not a one night problem.

Very disapointing experience
Pros:

I should have followed my gut instinct as we drove in. The driveway up to the hotel is littered with dead trees, branches and dead tree stumps, you need a 4x4 to get up the driveway.

We had the set truffle menu and honestly the food was good but everything else around didn't really justify the 115 euros + VAT price.
First off the menu said 110 euros and when we paid they charge us 115 per person..no explanations from the hotel receptionist/restaurant hostess

Firs, the stench of the waiter. I have never had a waiter smell so bad and serve food. The man was pleasant and smiling but smelled like he hadn't showered for the past month.

Secondly, the cutlery was dirty. The chairs had been repainted but were now covered in chipped paint. The light boxes in the false ceiling were filled with dead flies and mosquitoes.
Behind us was a small bar trolley with empty or almost bottles which screamed take me back to the 70s. The tiles on the floor are chipped and broken in places. The place generally looks like it was probably nice 30 years ago but didn't get renovated since. We felt that for that price it's really sad to have to get up and go to the wine/water table to pick up the bottle and then serve yourself.
Be prepared to wait a while to get anything, our water arrived after 30mn and bread after 40mn.

The final straw was probably the dirty coffee cups, which looked like they had just been used and someone had simply poured more coffee inside and served them back to us.

Intriguing location with fine wines and dining
Pros:

I arrived at the very discreet and tucked away location on a small hill and sitting within extensive grounds. The room we were initially given was rather tucked away in a rather dark corner with no view due to extensive shrubs blocking the view and creating a rather gloomy aspect. On mentioning this we were moved to a much better room - more spacious and with a much better aspect including a small terrace/balcony.
The location is full of history and dramatic events from the past and the location as a whole is very atmospheric.
Dining is of a very high standard and I suspect the quality of the cooking is a major attraction for guests. The wine list is very extensive although unfortunately a view of the cellar was not possible during our stay. The hotel is still family owned and this contributes to the experience of staying at the hotel. All in all a memorable stay.

Cozy Stay
Pros:

While the room/bathroom is a bit outdated, the hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is attentive, and the food is delicious! The tasting menu for dinner is a really great deal for wonderful food. The breakfast is also bountiful.

A magical evening
Pros:

Went there to celebrate Fathers Day. They had a special menu that was well thought through and very good quality. We sat outdoors on the terrace under a clear starlight sky. We all enjoyed our evening and would be happy to go back.

Romantic chateau near Avignon
Pros:

We loved our stay at Auberge de Noves. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and charming, with the nicest staff from all places we visited in Paris. It is located ~20 min from Avignon, perfect if you want to stay outside the city in a more quiet place close to the nature, while an easy drive to many cities in the Provence. The breakfast was very specially served, with delicious French pastries, homemade jams and eggs. I highly recommend this hotel!

A perfect moment in time
Pros:

Peacefully beautiful, a place to enjoy life by the moment. The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive without being in your face, the food is delicious and as fresh as it gets. I'm either intolerant or downright allergic to a large number of food groups but always forget to mention it in advance, however the chef made me lovely dishes outside the menu in the blink of an eye. We enjoyed room service on our balcony as we wanted to watch the FedEx playoffs. As the plumbing in our bathroom was somewhat temperamental, we were given access to the bathroom next door and a lovely pot of handmade jam to boot. To sum it all, we're going back next year.

Sadly disappointed
Pros:

We have stopped many times over the past 20 years and unfortunately the standards over the last few years have declined it has lost its sparkle the service is terrible, there is no one to greet you and the rooms have become shabby our carpet in our room was badly stained in many places. Evening meal is poor and extremely over priced. The standards are lower and the prices have not been reduced to accommodate this. The breakfast is very basic to say they charge 25€ per person which made our breakfast for 8 ott unfortunately we won't be returning unless the standards are improved which is a real shame as we have had some brilliant stays here.
Please auberge du noves improve your standards

Over priced, shabby and disappointing
Pros:

having stayed here some years ago we were looking forward to returning, but it's glory days are over. Shabby, overpriced and extremely disappointing. The hotel seemed to focus on large functions and we were an inconvenience - over the two nights stay we saw no other guests. We were asked to eat in our room the second night as they had a function. No free water in the room - it cost 6 euros a bottle, breakfast was on a tray and very uninspiring for 25 euros per person. Our room smelt of stale smoke and was shabby, restaurant food was ok but not a gastronomic experience with smoked salmon and olives served as the taster. We will not be returning and are sure there are much better alternatives in the area.

Disappointing, overpriced and lacking any atmosphere
Pros:

Having stayed at this hotel many years ago when it was a Relais Chateaux we were looking forward to returning for a two night stay. Unfortunately the hotel is now nothing like it was, and is now very shabby around the edges. It seems the hotel now focus on events and as we were the only ones staying there we were asked to eat in our room the second night. We had our dinner the first night which was ok - although smoked salmon and olives as the muse bouche were very underwhelming. Eating alone in the restaurant also meant there was no ambiance. Our breakfast was a small selection on a tray and the second night we chose to eat elsewhere. When presented with a bill for nearly 1000.00 euros for two nights, with one dinner and breakfast (and only two half bottles of wine) we chose not to pay a further 50 euros for breakfast day two. Overpriced, shabby and heartless would summarise our experience - no wonder we were the only guests I saw during our stay - I wish we had looked elsewhere.
