Really good, dinners were excellent, really helpful staff and thoroughly enjoyable
Pros:

This was our third visit. Stayed in room. Did not have breakfast either day. Dinner was simply outstanding, and we exceeded our expectations. Really really enjoyed it. Good value.

Cons:

No milk provided for the tea and coffee in the room. Other hotels provide cafe crème or similar. Large bath in the room was a bit weird and showering made a bit of a mess.

Unbearable under the heatwave, 35C in our suite, and supplied only one free bottle of 750cc mineral water for 2 guests, didn’t try anything to improve guess’s comfort. Got myself a bottle of water from restaurant to our suite, paid €9.- minimum service during our stay.

Cons:

This accomodation is no longer up to date, e.g. (1) air conditioning is not available in the rooms (although there was AC in the dining room/at reception) and no alternative is offered (in one of the 2 rooms we had a basic functioning fan) but nevertheless it was between 30 and 35 degrees in the rooms, (2) no refrigator with cool drinks available, (3) the dining room looks messy (sitting corning/eat corner mixed up), (4) although the breakfast is attractive using artisanal products, the choice is limited, also with food exposed to the sun/not well cooled.
In summary, this Auberge is overrated, deserving *** instead of ****

Sehr schöne Lage, wunderschöne Landschaft und Garten, vorzügliches Restaurant und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal
Zudem komfortabel und geschmackvoll ausgestattetes Superior-Zimmer und kostenloser PP, Grosse Veranda inkl. Zwei Liegen, Tisch und zwei Stühlen

Le personnel très accueillant aimable à l'écoute

Cons:

La chambre. Petite. La porte de la chambre donnait directement dans le jardin où d'autres personnes prenaient un verre. La carpette de la chambre était sale.
La salle de bain n'était pas séparée de la chambre
Prendre une douche était un sauna pour toute la chambre. Le petit déjeuner était bon mais pas exceptionnel .

Très agréable séjour dans cette auberge pleine de charme
Pros:

Très bel établissement, jardin idyllique et romantique. Les maisonnettes de l'établissement sont pleines de charme. Notre chambre aussi, tout en bois, était charmante. Le personnel était très agréable, souriant et serviable. Cela est très appréciable.

Cons:

Le mobilier extérieur en métal (comme c'est à la mode maintenant) enlève un peu de charme et d'authenticité au jardin qui serait encore pus beau avec du mobilier plus charmant.

Charming garden setting, but not the place to stay in warm weather.
Pros:

Beautiful setting in a rural location. Gardens are a particular highlight.
Our room was spacious and modern.

Cons:

Air conditioning was not working. We had it attended to twice, and it still failed to do more than blow warm air. At over 30c it was stifling. We had to have all our curtains and blinds shut to keep out the sun and therefore no view. Pillows were uncomfortably large with no smaller option. Staff were clearly overwhelmed and exhausted by the heat.
