We love the locations and property. Breakfast service and quality is a bit needs to be improved

It was a one night stop over while travelling from south to north. We were upgraded to a lovely room. Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Weather very disappointing, obviously no fault of the hotel.

Magnifique hôtel proche du village de Brantôme et de la grotte de Villars.
L’hôtel est superbe, tout comme le parc, la piscine.
La restauration est étoilée et les petits-déjeuners excellents.
Le personnel et l’ambiance sont la représentation même du luxe à la française.
Tout y est authentique et discret, apaisant et préservé !
C’est une expérience unique et fabuleuse que nous avons vécu et plus retrouvé depuis bien longtemps

This is a fabulous property with notable food (one rosette Michelin star and soigne cuisine) and an enchanting setting on a stream with sn active mill. The gardens, patios and interiors, including the room are charming and comfortable. Gracious and helpful staff...truly a magical spot.

We loved the hotel, our room was spacious and nice, the hotel grounds are beautiful, and the area is very peaceful and has lots of historic places to visit.

Ein sehr hübsches, ruhiges Hotel, liebevolle Details und geschaffen für einen Rückzug oder Honeymoon.
Restaurant und Service im Restaurant können verbessert werden. Dennoch empfehlenswert.

We were greeted by a warm, very friendly receptionist and,without fuss, escorted to a lovely clean room. In the evening we were treated to first class food and outstanding service in the beautiful riverside restaurant.

OMG Where to start, 1st class at every turn, the setting, the grounds, the staff , the room and amenities far surpassed what I thought, and the food was an 11 out of 10 amazing and exceptionally plated, prepared and very much enjoyed Chef Alain is magical and he and his beautiful wife were amazing, thank you

Personnel de l'accueil charmant et aux petits soins.
Malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu tester le restaurant, notre venue correspondant à la journée de repos du personnel.
