Chateau d'Esclimont

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Architecturally splendid, and a true 5 star hotel. The service was impeccable and the dinner and breakfast were elegant and well done. A great hotel for a romantic few days or a family outing. If you are driving, it is about 50 min from Fountainebleu and 25 minutes from Chartre.

본관이 아닌 별관에 묶게 되었습니다. 오랜 고성을 개조해 만든 호텔답게 분위기 있고 운치있습니다. 묶었던 시즌이 추워지려고 하는 때인데 난방도 아주 잘 되었습니다.
직원들은 체크인과 체크아웃, 레스토랑 이용시에 친절하게 대해주었습니다.
다만 체크인 한 직원이 너무 담배 냄새가 심하게 났었습니다.
호텔내 레스토랑은 편안하고 맛이 있습니다.

저녁과 아침에 호텔 건물 주변 정원을 돌아다니면서 편안한 휴식을 얻었습니다.

het is naar mijn mening geen 5 sterren waardig, organisatorisch laat het in alle vlakken te wensen over, diner is duur, ontbijt nog duurder. Jammer van zo'n mooi kader dat het om zeep wordt geholpen door de organisatie.

In our road trip around France we wanted to experience staying in the great chateaux. We were recommended to stay at Chateau L'Esclimont. When we looked at some previous negative reviews we wondered whether we should but decided to go ahead anyway. We are so glad we did. It is an amazing experience and well worth the cost. The staff were marvellous. Very helpful. The dinner was absolutely exquisite, sensational as was the sumptuous breakfast. No complaints about the food at all. Some reviewers were critical about the food and the cost but please ignore them. Either the chef has changed or the reviewers were being super critical. It is true that the buildings are in a state of decline but for us it added to the charm of the place. The manager explained to us that the Chateau is closing in January for an 18 month restoration. We are so looking forward to coming back again after it reopens to compare it to our recent stay. Driving down the driveway into the Chateau is a special experience. Like entering Disneyland. A magical castle in s beautiful setting.

The outside of the hotel is amazing! You feel like in a castle, but in the bedroom you feel like in a regular hotel, because of the lack of decorativos in the bedroom.

Absolutly amazing chateau, staff are so friendly and helpful, room was fantastic and the property itself is out of this world. Would love to stay longer. Restaurant a little expensive so if you are not up for it be prepared to doc into Chartres for dinner.

The hotel has wonderful gardens and environment but the hotel itself and rooms including facilities are too old

Estadia maravilhosa. O Chateau (já conhecia) é belo. O atendimento do staff foi muito bom. Precisa de algumas melhorias na parte interna (tapetes etc..)

A Very romantic property!!! We were revisiting after 26 years for our Anniversary. It was he first stop on our honeymoon. How lovely to return. Still no stand up shower in the room but very comfortable bed! While the place does seem a bit understaffed, the staff on hand went out of their way to make it special. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Chartres Cathedral is close by and a must see.

piège pour chinois fortunés, cet établissement n'a rien d'un 5* et doit absolument être évité. Le chateau a un très bel aspect extérieur mais l'entretien est nul, le ménage minimum, le service médiocre, la piscine condamnée, le resto hors de prix...

Nous connaissions déjà le château d'Esclimont. Nous avons profité pleinement du cadre, du confort, de l'accueil.... pour notre anniversaire de mariage.

The hotel has 5 stars. While the staff were very attentive and helpful the attention to detail was missing. Starbucks style cups for tea in the room, that is not 5 star. The grounds badly maintained, not withstanding the weather problems. The food very overpriced and about 3* standard

what a stunning place somewhere in the woods...if you haven't yet done the effort to book it yet,please you will feel like a king or queen..fabulous..so don't waste anymore time for a retreat with very good service from reception to the knowledge of the waiting staff too..
my wife and i loved it and after breakfast,you can enjoy the park for a walk on their 50hectare of land!!use the bicycle...it will be easy.

Very good hotel with castle view

非常難到達 幸運的是遇到好心的當地人讓我們搭便車 早餐貴但是並不感受到什麼特別 裝潢老舊 晚上很暗

Beautiful authentic chateau in bucolic setting. Grounds are lovely, and beautiful interior detail. If you like new you won't like it. If you love history and authentic then you will love it. Bathroom fixtures all looked new and worked great. Great hot water and water pressure. Peaceful setting. Less than 30 minutes from Chartres. Cute picturesque village...didn't see any stores but charming looking village church and narrow streets. They don't have turndown service.

Le bâtiment et le parc sont en soi un bonheur pour les yeux. Le calme est aussi un gros atout, avec ce parc de 60 hectares qui incite à la promenade.

On se sent vite bien dans cet endroit historique, gràce notamment au personnel .
Le bémol vient de la partie restauration : une cuisine assez prétentieuse et peu goûteuse, et des prix trop élevés.
