Excellent établissement
Pros:

L'emplacement est top, les chambres parfaites et le petit déjeuner également.
Plusieurs séjours dans cet établissement et c'est toujours parfait. Je recommande.
Mention spéciale au personnel, toujours accueillant, disponbile et souriant. Excellent rapport qualité prix

A city of arts and science which I certainly want to return to, but perhaps in a different hotel.
Pros:

I booked this hotel because I don't like modern jazzed-up hotels. This was certainly something a bit more traditional, with a great local vibe, near a lovely square full of restaurants and cafes, a market, some really interesting fast food. The main town square with fabulous buildings and more great restaurants was 5 minutes walk, ditto the metro station. Main line station quite close too. They have some great deals on the transport - its best to use their cardboard-card which you load up with day passes as you need them. Wonderful museums and art galleries, especially the private ones. And if you are a musician dont miss the world-music shop! The air museum is superb, but I wish I'd had time to include the nearby aircraft restoration club (and restaurant), and the Airbus factory. The space museum is a nice open site with great exhibits - great for kids but necessarily a bit gimmicky.
And the riverside - wow!

Cons:

It was altogether quite cramped, only relieved by the fact that we had a rooftop room with a large balcony where a dozen could party if necessary! Well, no parties for us but the view was ok.
No coffee-making in this room - we had to use the kettle in the foyer. Streets around the hotel very narrow - you have to watch carefully for mad drivers, cyclists and everything else, just missing each other and you. Our taxi nearly hit two cyclists as they careered over the narrow junction in front of the hotel. Metro is rather slow. Over an hour to get to the air museum. Also a long trip by buses and metro to get to the space museum - not easy to work out where to change.
