Prima hotel voor een korte citytrip
Pros:

Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende. De kamer is niet zo groot maar wel functioneel. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van het centrum in een voetgangersgebied. Je kunt parkeren op 6 minuten lopen van het hotel en krijgt dan 50% korting op het parkeertarief

Cons:

Het aanmelden is vreemd. Ze hebben geen desk maar je zit aan een tafeltje met een dame met een laptop. De badkamer is best klein. De ontbijtruimte is leuk maar onpraktisch ingericht. Of je zit aan een tafeltje waar je je voeten niet kwijt kunt, of op zo'n lage bank dat je jezelf een kabouter voelt.

Prima hotel centraal gelegen
Pros:

Ligging midden in de stad, parkeergarage op korte afstand.

Cons:

Ontbijt was prima maar ten opzichte van andere Mercure hotels wel minder. Bijv. Maar 1 koffie apparaat, geen doek om brood af te dekken bij snijden, geen gewone kaas, roerei was lauw.

Uitstekend hotel
Pros:

Het centraal gelegen hotel voldeed gelemaal aan de verwachtingen. Ruime parkeergarage vlakbij met korting vh hotel. Erg vriendelijk personeel!

Pros:

De kamer is erg fijn en rustig. Erg vriendelijk personeel en fantastisch ontbijt. De locatie vlakbij de cathedraal is erg goed om Metz te bezoeken.

Niet de kwaliteit ervaren van een viersterrenhotel.
Pros:

De locatie in het centrum is fantastisch. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Personeel spreekt goed Engels. Als welkomstgebaar was de minibar gratis gevuld met vier verschillende drankjes. Dit werd zeer gewaardeerd!
Heerlijk geslapen op goede matrassen.

Cons:

De kamer ( upgrade) was ruim maar niet sfeervol. De vloerbedekking in de kamer en vrijwel het hele hotel zag er vies en smoezelig uit. De airco deed het niet. Hebben het raam open moeten doen want het was erg warm. In de aparte wc wordt een wasbak gemist.

Around corner from the Catherdal - just make sure youre booking the right "Mercure Metz"
Pros:

The Staff!! The staff were genuinely helpful, going beyond polite courtesy and actually trying to help. Due to some confusion (my mistake), i checked in and out of this hotel twice in three days, so met multiple shift changes- and all the people i met were very helpful. The property itself is ok - great if you want to be as close as possible to the entertainment and shopping. The Cathedral (def worth a visit or two) is around the corner (hence the name, i suppose) and lots of restaurants, cafes and stores are just next door. Despite the location, the hotel was quiet

Cons:

The NAME! The name is far too close to another property under separate ownership/management. Was very confusing, i booked the wrong place by mistake.
