L'accueil, équipe à l'écoute et disponible.

Adequate and as expected.
Pros:

Handy to the train station and secure parking.
Coffee at breakfast was good.
Air Conditioning was very good, if slightly noisy. Black out shutters (external, electric) were also helpful.
Polite, friendly staff.

Cons:

A bit noisy in our street facing 4th floor room on Saturday night, much quieter on Sunday night.
No power sockets beside the beds.
The fridge light was working but the fridge was not cool - room temperature.
There is no useful storage in the bathroom.

Pros:

Chambre propre et spacieuse. Clim fonctionnelle bien agreable pendant la canicule. Emplacement proche de tout et accueil tres sympa.

Cons:

le seul point c'est qu'il n'y a pas de parking reservé mais possible de se garer dans la rue sans difficulté.

Perfekte Lage für die Durchreise
Pros:

Die direkte Lage am Hauptbahnhof in Valenciennes ermöglicht eine zügige Weiterreise. Es gibt einen kostenpflichtigen Park und Ride Platz neben dem Bahnhof, wo man das Auto gut für ein bis zwei Nächte stehen lassen kann. Unser Zimmer hatte doppelt verglaste Fenster, so dass es ganz ruhig war, auch in der Nacht. Durch die Lage des Hotels lässt sich die Stadt mit ihren zahlreichen Einkehrmöglichkeiten auch fußläufig sehr gut erkunden. Unser Zimmer hatte eine kleine Küchenzeile mit 1 elektrischen Herdplatte und war mit allem ausgestattet, was zum Kochen nötig gewesen wäre. Es gab auch eine Klimaanlage! Die Matratzen waren schön stabil und fest. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Frühstückoption gibt es gegen einen Aufpreis im Hotel selbst, die Qualität ist o.k. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Cons:

Es ist zu empfehlen, sich vorab über die Parksituation vor Ort zu informieren, da es am Bahnhof selbst nur einen kleinen Parkbereich zum Abholen bzw. Wegbringen von Bahnreisegästen und eine fahrende Stadtbahn auf Schienen gibt, ansonsten ist alles blockiert bzw. Einbahnstraße oder Parkbuchten mit begrenzter Parkzeit (Parkscheinautomaten).
