Great base for busy Chamonix, 100m removed from the hustle and bustle, so very quiet.
Pros:

We paid for a superior room and it was great - tastefully decorated with views of the mountains.
I loved the environmental initiatives, including posters on the stairwell about exercise.

Cons:

Honestly this summer I would have loved aircon!

Great value for money.
Pros:

Had a room at the 6th floor. Amazing view over the mountains.
The spa has also a very nice view.
