Charming, friendly and comfortable hotel in a superb location

My wife and I very-much enjoyed our 3-night stay in this charming hotel. It was our first stay here, but we don't expect it to be our last! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, our room on the ground floor was elegant and very comfortable, and the breakfast was superb. This family-owned hotel is very-well maintained and stylishly decorated, both inside and out, and its location, in a quiet street behind Bvld St Michel and Blvd St Germain, is ideal. Within five minutes you can be in the bustling excitement of the sixieme arrondissement, with its wall-to-wall shops, cafes and restaurants or in the quiet calm of the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg, and it's only about a 10-minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. Both Metro and RER stops are also just minutes away - from Luxembourg RER, one can be in Versailles in under an hour for the cost of a Metro ticket. It is a perfect location from which to explore Paris or to simply enjoy the atmosphere and food of this lively city. Hotel Saint-Paul will certainly be our first choice on our next visit to Paris.

Amazing experience in the heart of Paris.
Pros:

I’ve stayed twice at Saint Paul Rive Gauche. Great location in my favourite arrondissement.
A wonderful hotel with an amazing staff. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Don’t rely solely on the photos when booking — make sure to confirm the exact room you’ll be assigned.

The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation, cafés, and nearby attractions.

Cons:

The biggest issue was that the “standard room” I was assigned looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com.
The room size, window size, and overall layout were completely different from the images presented.

Great location, good hotel
Pros:

Excellent location between Jardin Luxembourg and Ile de la Cité 100 metres off Boulevard St Michel. Close to small supermarkets and many good restaurants. A few yards from Polidor, but you need to book early to get a table in the evenings.
We stayed in an attractive upgraded room. Small bath, but an excellent shower. Comfortable bed. The hotel has a lift. There is a small attractive communal sitting area downstairs next the helpful staff in reception.
An excellent continental breakfast is served in the cellar.
This was my second stay and would be very happy to return.

Lindo hotel e localização excelente.
Pros:

Excelente localização, equipe muito cordial. Recebemos um upgrade para um quarto maior que fez toda a diferença na nossa estadia! Quarto lindo e confortável.

Cons:

O banheiro apesar de limpo e equipado era pequeno. O café da manhã poderia ser melhor também.
