La situation, l'hôtel dont l'architecture est originale (chambre du bout), litterie

Cons:

Salle de bain un peu vieillotte et étroite.
Ménage tous les jours mais parfois la poubelle n'est pas vidée, petite tache sur une taie durant tout le séjour.

Pros:

Really nice location. Simple place to be outside of center Paris with access to bus, metro and tram

Cons:

We ask for two room, the corner one was really nice and all that we need. The second one was kind of small for two adults.

Cuatro dias en Paris
Pros:

La ubicación. Está ubicado en un buen barrio, con un carrefour junto al Hotel y más mercados, ademas de bares y restaurantes para comer o cenar. La parada de bus está justo en la puerta del Hotel y tiene buenas conexiones. Del metro mas cercano está a 8 minutos andando.

Las habitaciones. Son pequeñas pero confortables. Con muy buena iluminación natural. Limpias.

El desayuno es muy completo. El pan y la bollería muy rica, y con opciones de fruta en almibar, cereales, una gran variedad de mermeladas exquisitas, yogures, queso, huevos revueltos y salchichas.
Además, hay un dispensador de agua

El servicio súper competente. Todos muy, muy amables.

On the first night, the AC was dripping water and flooded the room. All the hotel could do was provide us with a bucket. We didn’t sleep for a minute because of the constant noise of the water droplets.

For the second and third nights, we were moved to another room, where the AC made loud, random cracking noises throughout the night. The noises were startling enough to wake us up constantly.

Another very concerning incident happened in the evening when the hotel’s main door was locked and there was no one at the reception desk. We were trying to leave while another family was trying to get in, and both of us were locked on opposite sides of the door. We genuinely felt trapped.

The reception staff, with the exception of one employee, were very dismissive and unhelpful.

The room is also not a “quadruple room” as described. It is actually two tiny connecting double rooms, and yes, that makes a big difference. It meant our family had to split into two separate rooms every time we wanted to sleep or even watch TV, which completely ruined the family-vacation atmosphere.

I passed on many other hotels that were closer to the city center and cheaper specifically because I did not want two connecting rooms. Gabriel Hotel’s description is misleading, making you believe you are booking a proper family/quadruple room when, in reality, you are getting two small connected rooms.

Unfortunately, we spent three claustrophobic, noisy, and sleepless nights here. A very disappointing experience.
