Top Lage, nettes kleines Zimmer mit unnötigen Gadgets
Pros:

Da wir in die Altstadt sind und am Abend die Oper besucht haben, war die Lage perfekt. Das Auto haben wir im Parkhaus untergebracht. Es kostete CHF 50.- für einen Tag und eine Nacht. Das war ganz Okay.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Smart Room. Das heisst, alles oder vieles lief über Bewegungsmelder. Das war nicht bloss ungewohnt, sondern nachts auch unangenehm. Die totale Kontrolle hat man bloss über das Tablet im Zimmer. Dort konnten alle Dinge einzeln angesteuert werden. Sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Am Morgen hörte man halt die Putzfrau sehr laut im Gang. Das Zimmer wäre ansonsten sehr ruhig gewesen. Das war schade.

Cons:

Das Bett war extrem weich. Im Zimmer war es sehr warm, so dass ich über Nacht das Fenster offen liess. Draussen gab es eine Art Generator, der sehr laut war.

Overpriced and under maintained
Pros:

Staff seem fed up to be doing their jobs, rooms dated and room facilities are broken,

Got moved room
After all the electrical points for charging were broken,

Shower pressure is terrible, and impossible to control the water temperature,

Room temperature either freezing cold or roasting hot.

Not worth the room rate

Poor quality of accommodation, not good value for money
Pros:

The location is great

Cons:

The staff seem like they dont want to be there, the facilities are poor and dated, even after moving to another room the second room was just as poor, shower was terrible , room temp either too cold or too hot, would be fine but the way the hotel is advertised doesn’t reflect the standard provided.

Early check-in, close to train
Pros:

Hello everyone. I have stayed here twice, alone for business. Love the hotel! Room is small as you would expect but the bed is comfy. Shower is great. Clean. WiFi is strong. The breakfast is wonderful… eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, meats, cucumbers, tomatoes, smoked salmon, fresh breads, yogurts, cereal, fruit, coffee, and more. My favorite is their overnight oats with berries.

They also offer free New York Times newspapers. And the Staff is the best.

Most importantly, both times they had rooms ready for me when I arrived well before check-in. As an American, I have landed at 8am and 10am. This past trip I was able to nap from 10-12am before work meetings began.

Helpful hint: there is a direct train from the airport just 4 stops away (20 min). It’s the S16. It only runs every half hour but it’s well worth the wait so you don’t have to connect. The nearby station is Zurich Stadelhof. When leaving the airport, follow signs for train station, exit airport and cross street, take escalator downstairs, find the ticket machines (change language to English), select the train you wish to ride, head downstairs for the platform. Google Maps can tell you the platform.
