Da ich selber aus dem Hotelbusiness komme, habe ich etwas Erfahrung von 5. Stern bis Designhotels in den Bergen und auf dem Clubschiff, daher war ich sehr begeistert von dem Hotel direkt beim HB in Zürich, wollte diesen Abend den Zug nach Hamburg nehmen und blieb stecken! Also ob ich wieder komme egal für welchen Anlass und das Hotel auch wärmstens empfehlen würde? Definitiv, 💯 das lag am Hotel & Angebot und dem freundlichen Personal, herzlichen Dank.

Cons:

Nichts an dem Abend. Das Zimmer hatte keine Aussicht und verbessern könnte man am Empfang höchstens noch die Auskunft wegen dem Zmorge!

Pros:

Excelente localização (colado na estação de trem), quarto confortável, ar condicionado forte com regulagem prática, ajudou muito pois pegamos fortes ondas de calor. Máquinas de café espalhadas pelo hotel para uso a vontade. Café da manhã muito bom. Recomendo e ficaria novamente com certeza!!

Cons:

Ausência de Microondas e frigobar no quarto. Facilitaria lanches à noite, as opções na Suíça costumam fechar cedo, comércios muitas vezes fecham no máximo às 22 h. Maior parte 20 h vai encerrando atividade.

Konum açısından mükemmel. Odada küçük bir buzdolabı olmasını beklerdik. Bizim konakladığımız dönem çok sıcaktı ve odada soğuk su olmaması iyi olmadı. Ayrıca ikinci gün odaya su bırakılmadı. Koridorlarda kahve ve çay istasyonları var. Bunun haricinde istasyona, şehir merkezine yakın olması süper. Genel olarak iyi bir deneyimdi.

We generally like Fred’s Place and have stayed here before. The location works well for us, and the property has usually been clean.

Cons:

This time, the communication with the staff was slightly disappointing. First, we booked early check in on Booking.com and paid $100 over the regular price for it. When I called the hotel to confirm, they said I did not have early check in (I had a screenshot to prove it). This resulted in a lot of back and forth and they were finally able to accommodate it, but I wasted 2 hours with them and Booking.com customer service trying to prove that I had indeed paid for it.

When we arrived, we discovered men’s underwear left in the room from a prior guest. We only stayed 2 nights and did not request cleaning during the stay because we had several bags and did not want staff moving around them.

When we were checking out, I mentioned the underwear to the older gentleman at the front desk. His first response was to ask why we had not said something earlier. There was no acknowledgement of the issue and no offer to make it right.

For a stay that cost almost $350 per night, I expected a more service oriented response. We still like Fred’s Place, but this particular front desk interaction was not at the level it should be. That staff member would probably benefit from additional hospitality training.
