Scaffolding over property

Hotel is in great location, across the road from the Bus and Train stations.

Cons:

The hotel front was covered in scaffolding and plastic sheeting. No view from my front window. While in my room, I saw a lady painting the outside of my window frame. The hotel was not cheap, and there should be some compensation for the lack of view. The reception area is small and the staff seemed very inexperienced. I was in a queue at Reception that was long enough to go past the reception area.

Great location...need to improve some amenities
Pros:

Location was great, walking distance to everything.

Cons:

Room was noisy- no insulation in the rioms or walls-could hear people above, below and outside traffic!!, AC was off when we arrived, and we didn't notice until the middle of the night when it was too hot , breakfast was very expensive for a not very special Continental.

Luzern is beautiful but stay somewhere else

The view out the window was covered by plastic and scaffolding and I woke up in the morning to a view of a work man, this was not advertised when I booked last year and I have no correspondence from the hotel telling me about the construction work, they refuse to offer any compensation, breakfast was very average for the cost

Tenia reserva 3 noches, la primera noche bien, desayuno vimos que era regulero, fruta justa y vieja, pero sin mas, nos fuimos a pasar la mañana y al volver a las 3,15 todavia la habitacion sin hacer, me dijeron, pueden estar limpiandola hasta las 4, pedi toyas limpias en recepcion para poder ducharme, puse no me molesten mientras me ducho, cuando nos arreglamos y nos preparamos para salir, nos dicen ya no hacen la habitacion se a pasado la hora, pido al dia siguiente limpien la mia primera, al siguiente dia al volver de la excursion, la habitacion la habian echo, pero sin cambiar los edredones, teniamos menuda mancha en edredon y no lo habian cambiado, solo doblan el edredon y se van... asi que me fui a quejar, si no me quejo 3 dias durmiendo con el mismo edredon y sumier sin cambiar, cuando pagar, pagas cara la habitacion de 4 estrellas, una verguenza, saque foto y volvi a recepcion a enseñar que no habian cambiado la cama, vinieron y la cambiaron delante mia, de verguenza, una cochinada de hotel, el desayuno ya vimos el percal, ponen poca cantidad cuando se termina tardan en reponer, la 3 mañana fui rapida en coger fruta y unas napolitanas pequeñas , no volvieron a reponerlo mientras estube desayunando...
X cierto, ninguna disculpa, ni una chocolatina de disculpa 🤣 estoy en un 3 estrellas ahora en interlaken y aqui chocolatina de regalo, incluso zapatillas, cepillo de dientes etc.. en el monopol nada de nada.
No volvere, ni lo recomiendo, si es solo por la hubicacion, al lado ahi otro bien majo.
Otra cosa, la entrada, es un starbuck, puedes hacer cola para el ascensor con los que hacen cola para comprar el cafe y a la noche... los que suben a la terraza, menuda marabunta....
Si quereis tranquilida y limpieza, este no es vuestro hotel.
