Pros:

La localisation de l'hôtel est proche du centre historique, du fameux pont en bois de Lucerne et du centre de congrès et de spectacle KKL. La chambre était calme.

Cons:

Découvrir un poil de cheveu dans la baignoire à notre arrivée. Pas assez d'eau chaude pour prendre une douche en fin d'après-midi avant de sortir. Petit-déjeuner lugubre avec œufs brouillés paraissant secs et datant de la veille, pancakes froid, confitures sans aucun goût. L'accueil à la réception et le départ d'une froideur extrême pour des non germanophones.

外壁工事中で全面に工事用シートに覆われて外は何も見えない。見えるのは足場鉄骨フレームだけ。その工事中で有る案内もなく高い金額を払ってしまった。

Best Location!
Pros:

We used to stay here before a few years ago. The room was too dull and the furniture and the bathroom were outdated. However, apparently, it has been under renovation for sure. The room is brighter; the furniture is much better and the bathroom is new and modern. I decided to stay here again because of its best location...just a few steps away from the train station. And I am so happy that I made such decision. Staff are helpful and friendly. The location is still the key.

Don’t stay until the Reno is finished

Large room, with a comfy bed and large bathroom with plenty of storage and a magnify mirror
2 free bottles of water per day

Cons:

They were in the middle of a renovation so the entire front of the building was covered with scaffolding and a builders screen. We therefore could not open our window and had no view. We paid for a large room on the 6th floor which would have had a great view. We were very disappointed they did not let us know of this inconvenience, they did not apologise for it or offer to compensate for the inconvenience - a free breakfast for eg. would have been appreciated. Quite a few people were upset by it so I expect they did not inform anyone. The price we paid did not reflect the experience we received.
Also FYI the rooftop terrace is near impossible to get a seat. We tried 4 times in our two day stay (not peak season) and it was always booked out. If you book the accommodation with the hope of using the terrace there is no special tables for guests, it’s open to all the public.
