Eine grandiose Lage an einem herrlichen Bergsee mit hoteleigenem Zugang.
Sehr schöne , große Zimmer mit bestem Blick.
Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und auch die Reinigungskräfte sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Hotelrestaurant und Frühstücksbuffet befanden sich im gegenüberliegenden Hotel.
Location on the lake Luzern with some beautiful views. The interior decor of the hotel was like a medieval castle. Easy access to the bus stop and slightly strenuous uphill walk to Merlichachen train station. Wifi included.
With four months of advance booking, the staff had not done the pre-planning to give us two rooms side-by-side in spite of knowing we are traveling with children. Upon arrival, they made accommodations to give us rooms next to each other but we had to give up our lake-facing room. They gave us rooms 152 and 153 and 152 and both were smaller in square feet than what we paid for. Stand-up shower in 152 was so small that a normal 5'5" person would keep bumping the elbow against the glass panel. The rooms don't have A/C and we had to sleep in 80F heat for two nights. On the third night they provided fans for both rooms. Water and soft drinks were only provided in one of the room upon arrival. The bathroom sink drain in the 152 was leaking badly. We notified manager and it was patch-fixed the next day. They did not put a new drain stopper when they repaired leaving an open drain hole where one can easily loose a piece of jewelry. Very bad experience overall and if there is a way to file a complaint and get part of the money back, I would.

1. Idro-massaggio non funzionante (è stato riparato, fortunatamente)
2. Macchina del caffè funzionante con difetto di perdita d’acqua… non è stata sostituita ne la guarnizione, ne la macchina stessa.
3. Frigobar non funzionante : bevande calde con poca varietà
Delusione per quanto riguarda qualità/prezzo… ci si aspetta che le cose (elencate sopra) siano funzionanti per questo prezzo…

A very nice hotel, loved staying here. I had a lovely room with a beautiful view of the lake. I also had a fantastic dinner in their restaurant, though a bit expensive. But, that is all of Switzerland from what I understand.

Wir haben die Junior Suite mit Romantik Speziall gebucht. Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr schön mit Blick auf den See. Die Whirlpool Wanne ist ein Highlight im Zimmer. Es gibt eine grosse Terasse für Raucher und auch eine Pizzakarte, wenn man im Zimmer zusammen Essen möchte.
Die Whirlpoll Wanne war etwas zu klein für 2 Personen. Wäre schön wenn man den alten Fernseher gegen ein neueres Modell (Smart TV) austauschen, wenn man z.B. einen Film auf Netflix schauen möchte.
