Solide und zentral gelegen.
Pros:

Solides Hotel mit etwas in die Jahre gekommener Ausstattung und freundlichem Personal an zentraler Lage in Engelberg.

Cons:

Bei einer Buchung in Schweizer Franken bei einem Schweizer Hotel wurde mir 1,75 Prozent Zuschlag für Zahlungen ins Ausland belastet.
Ich erwarte eine Stellungnahme und Rückvergütung.

Nice location - problem with heating
Pros:

Nice location in the middle of town. Large breakfast buffet.

Cons:

It was VERY warm in the hotel and not possible to adjust the heat so we had to sleep with door and window open, and this was in the winter time so it became quite cold in the end of the night, but if we closed them it would get very warm again in 10 minuttes.

Pros:

Нам понравился очень хороший завтрак.

Cons:

окна номера выходили на улицу по которой круглосуточно ходили автобусы и пьяные туристы, орущие в ночи, поэтому при открытых окнах оба ночи плохо , поскольку отопление не регулировалось и в номере было очень жарко и душно. Места на парковке размечены на очень узкие машины, иногда было очень не просто запарковаться.

Solides Hotel
Pros:

Reichhaltiges Frühstück, Lage mitten in Engelberg im Dorf, Zimmer waren alles in Allem ok

Cons:

Das Zimmer enthielt Teppich, keine Kaffemaschiene oder Tee Möglichkeit/ keine Minibar, keine Bodylotion oder Handcreme, Kissen waren schlecht

Not a 4 star hotel
Pros:

The individual staff were good, just not well organised. Location is good. Breakfast was ok

Cons:

Tired decor. Not 100% clean. No temperature controls in room so too hot overnight. Dinner was a buffet, the meat was dry and tough. Not soundproof enough so woken numerous times throughout the night by people outside, culminating at 6am by snow ploughs.
