Cons:

Breakfast was okay, but not diverse. There was no fridge in the room, nor something to heat your food in, considering that they dont offer dinner options I think a small kitchen and a small fridge are necessary.

Very nice and I’ll be back again.
Pros:

The property is very nice, mountain views, near the train station , bus stop opposite the hotel. The locaction Interlaken West, not far to all beautiful places you want to see. Breakfast is very good. Our room is very nice and cleaned all through our stay. Staff are approachable and very nice too.

Pros:

Clean, rustic hotel. Beds made every day, towells changed daily.
Very friendly & helpful reception & breakfast staff.
Breakfast was wonderful!

Cons:

As it is an old building, you can hear room above guests walking about, taking a shower etc.
I like firm pillows but only soft squidgy ones available.

Pros:

Je suis un peu déçu malheureusement… les chambres sont très bruyantes (j’entendais même le voisin ronfler). Je crois qu’il y a des travaux dans l’hôtel , ce qui fait qu’il y avait une sorte de ventilation dans le couloir mais qui était très bruyante également. De plus, il fait froid dans la chambre et vous êtes réveillé par le jour qui pénètre à travers le rideau. En revanche, je souligne la gentillesse du personnel et la qualité du petit-déjeuner servi

Disappointing.
Pros:

Although the room was small, there was a lot of storage space. It was conveniently located.

Cons:

I stayed for 4 nights. For two of those night there was no heating in my room or in most of the hotel. On my final day there was no hot water. I have been promised a refund but it has not yet appeared in my bank account. It is almost a week since I checked out. I have contacted the hotel, but the problem has still not been resolved.

Nothing. Terrible place. Breakfast was a bit miserable but fine. That's about it.

Cons:

Everything. Very rigid check in time. Its 3pm and not a minute before. Rooms very basic. No sound proofing. Very noisy. You can hear people in the next room. No carpets on floors so you hear people above you. No restaurant. Hotel reception closes at 10pm so good luck if you need assistance after that time. Says its a 3 star hotel - I wouldnt rate it as a hotel, more like a hostel. Not worth the ridiculous price they charge for a room. Was booked and prepaid for 2 nights. Left @ 9am after the first night. Enough said.

Demanding full refund.

Cons:

We booked this property in Interlaken through Booking.com and chose to pay in advance.

On the afternoon of our arrival — before check-in — we called the property to ask about check-in instructions and to inform them that we might arrive after 10:00 p.m., which was the official check-in cutoff time. The staff member assured us that we had nothing to worry about because it was a “self check-in.”

However, when we arrived late that evening in a small town, there was absolutely no one there. No staff, no instructions, no key box, nothing. The emergency contact number provided did not work, and no one answered our calls. We were left outside in freezing temperatures (around 0°C) until nearly 12:00–12:30 a.m., trying to figure out how to access the room.

We only had a room number — but how were we supposed to enter the room without any access instructions?

Thankfully, some kind local residents who happened to be walking by helped us find alternative accommodation for the night. Otherwise, we would have been completely stranded.

This was a very unfortunate and stressful experience caused by incorrect and misleading information from the property. We did everything we could to prevent this situation by calling ahead, and we were explicitly told not to worry. Arriving in a foreign country at night and being left outside in freezing weather with no way to contact the property is unacceptable.

Very disappointing experience.

Le point noir reste l'insonorisation. Si vous avez le sommeil léger, prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles. D’ailleurs des bouchons d’oreilles sont disponibles dans les chambres
