Pros:

Das Hotel hat direkten Zugang zur Promenade und bietet einen herrlichen Bli ck auf den Genfer See. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eingeschränktem Seeblick in der untersten Etage und es war trotzdem phantastisch, weil wir direkt vor unserem Zimmer bequeme Liegen hatten und durch Palmen hindurch auf das Wasser schauen und uns erholen konnten. Frühstück war sehr gut, für uns als Vegetarier nicht allzu üppig, aber es war eigentlich alles da. Gebäude hat einen gewissen altehrwürdigen. Charme, aber die Zimmer sind modernisiert, geräumig und sauber. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Cons:

Eigentlich kaum etwas zu bemängeln. Beim Parken gibt es Einschränkungen, da nur wenig hoteleigene Parkplätze zur Verfügung stehen. An der Strasse direkt gegenüber gibt es öffentliche Parkplätze, aber auch die sind begrenzt. Vom Hotel bekommt man allerdings einen relativ günstigen Parkschein dafür. Wir waren in der Zwischensaison (Ende Mai) hier und da ging es recht gut. Standklimaanlage im Zimmer nicht besonders effektiv.

Pretty and wonderful location with lovely staff
Pros:

Very spacious room, comfortable bed. We had a nice view overlooking the lake. The hotel is a little dated but the facilities are nice. It's in a lovely location. The staff were very friendly.

Cons:

My only critique is that the housekeeping didn't seem very good. One of the days, it appeared that housekeeping had come but they hadn't emptied the trash or replaced coffee cups etc and the bed was very poorly made. Apart from that, it was a very nice stay.

Pros:

Die Lage direkt am See ist unschlagbar. Der Ausblick von den Zimmern mit Balkon zur Seeseite machen ein Stück von Paradies wahr. Wundervolle Terasse mit Bar.

Toll ist auch der Palmengarten mit zahlreichen Liegen, Sofas und Sitzecken zum verweilen. Traumhaft an heißen Tagen!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Chefin am Empfang spricht fließend frz, dt. und engl. Sehr angenehmer, kompetenter Kontakt.

Cons:

Es gibt nur vier Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Ansonsten muss tlw. recht weit entfernt entlang der Straße geparkt werden.

Hie und da ist manches etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es ist noch akzeptabel, aber man sollte demnächst in den Invest gehen (Waschtische, Fensterbeschläge z.B.)

Im Garten verläuft ein kleiner Bach, in dem Frösche und Kröten leben. Leider gibt es des Nachts öfter ein brutal lautes "Quack-Konzert". Eigentlich ganz witzig, aber bei offenem Fenster kann man da nicht recht schlafen.

Obwohl das Hotel nahe der Bahnlinie liegt, hört man den Zug nur ganz leise, da war ich erstaunt.

Pros:

Lage am See, alles sauber. Parkplatz beim Haus. Sehr gutes Abendessen. Freundliches Personal. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis wird verbessert durch die Rivieracard (wünschenswert wäre ganz um den See rum - das würde einen längeren Aufenthalt vielleicht begünstigen)

Cons:

Keine extra Handtücher für den See. Der Frühstücksraum ist in der Früh im Sommer etwas abgegrenzt von der sehr schönen Umgebung. Frühstück auf der Terrasse wäre viel besser und eindrucksvoller. Teekocher im Zimmer 683 - Deckel kaputt.

Das Hotel war super gelegen, mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Berge und den See. Die meisten Attraktionen waren alle fußläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

Das Hotel verfügte über kaum Parkplätze. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten zum Großteil sehr desinteressiert.

Leider verfügt das Hotel über keinerlei Klimaanlage, was die Nächte selbst im Frühling unerträglich macht.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Montreux
Pros:

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das gesamte Hotel ist sehr schön und gepflegt, das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich.

Das Essen im Hotel Restaurant war sensationell und von hoher Qualität. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich.. Bestellt man einen lokalen Wein, erhält man zudem eine schöne und interessante Erklärung dazu.

Die Zimmer sind gross, komfortabel und verfügen über einen Balkon mit wunderschöner Aussicht.

Auch die Parkmöglichkeiten sind praktisch, allerdings sollte man diese vorab reservieren.

Wir können dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Top Aussicht auf den See mit sehr gutem Frühstück.

Schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den See. Alles da was man braucht. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Besonders sind die 3 mal 3 220 Steckdosen und mit je 2x USB Anschluss.

Klimaanlage nicht besonders leise.

La struttura è molto vecchia, l'arredo è vetusto e alcuni spazi sembrano abbandonati. La camera aveva le ragnatele e mancava il tappetino in bagno. Posteggi limitati.

Excellence in every way
Pros:

The hotel was a little away from all the hustle and bustle, so the location is quiet (except for the frogs at night). It’s clean, the staff superb, breakfast plentiful and only a short walk down a pathway with beautiful roses growing to get to the promenade along the lake. My room had a lake view. Truly I wish I could have stayed longer.
