Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. Guests can park their car in Täsch (garage parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi.

Renovation Alpine Chic Rooms

Until mid-December we are renovating all Alpine Chic rooms with a complete new look. The entire side of the Hotel above the bar will therefore be closed, the Spa, Restaurant, Bar and smoking lounge stay open as per usual. Some construction noise will be expected.
Renovation work will be done weekdays, during business hours.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

10/10 hotel - can't fault any single part of it
Pros:

Incredible property. By far the best room we stayed in during our 8 day trip. Breakfast was 10/10, restaurant dining was delicious. The room itself was fully equipped, the free minibar (first topup free) was a nice touch also.

Ambiente lindo, aconchegante. Café da manhã muito bom, hotel muito bem localizado. Oferece transporte gratuito para estação de metrô, o que facilita demais.

Cons:

Eramos um grupo grande, foram 4 quartos e um deles o ar condicionado não funcionou e não tinha ventilador disponível em pleno verão europeu. Minha mãe e meu sobrinho só conseguiram dormir pq na madrugada a temperatura caiu um pouco e deixou o quarto fresco, mas foi preciso ficar com as portas e janelas abertas.

Exceptional stay in a very high quality hotel.
Pros:

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the location of the hotel as it was in a quiet location away from the business of the centre of town but still very close to all amenities. Our room was very cosy and we liked having a balcony
overlooking the river. The food in the restaurant was of a really high standard and we particularly enjoyed the variety of food offered. Mr Evans (Restaurant Manager) was always very helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cake at 16:00 - a welcome pick me up after a long day in the mountains!

Cons:

We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel.

Confortable, détente, personnel attentionné et hôtel soigné
Pros:

Le petit déjeuner était complet et varié, l'emplacement proche de la gare idéal et la possibilité d'utiliser douche et Spa le lendemain de la nuit d'hôtel (halb-marathon) est vraiment appréciable. Dommage que je ne savais pas avant mon séjour mais je retiens pour la prochaine fois

The one who work in resturant is amazing

I don’t like the way how I treated by the receptionist. She took my card and write it down the security code rather than sending me link to pay the deposit myself. When I asked her to do so she become angry. Yes it is about trust and I am expecting to receive big simple and understand the situation as a tourist and respect the privacy as well
