Renovation Alpine Chic Rooms

Until mid-December we are renovating all Alpine Chic rooms with a complete new look. The entire side of the Hotel above the bar will therefore be closed, the Spa, Restaurant, Bar and smoking lounge stay open as per usual. Some construction noise will be expected.
Renovation work will be done weekdays, during business hours.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Great hotel, perfect location in Zermatt.
Pros:

Rooms are spacious and well designed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Excellent location, only 2 min walk to the Sunnegga train.

Beautiful stay.
Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff, transfer from/to Zermatt train station, room very beautiful, clean and quiet, nice swimming pool, nice restaurant and lounge, with nice food and snacks. Nice facilities for skiers.

Cons:

Breakfast, although not bad, could have been better, with fresher pastries.

Pros:

Muy lindo, moderno, excelente ambiente.
Muy buen desayuno, 10 puntos. Spa muy completo y con buenos precios. Transporte incluido desde la estación de tren. Enfrente del lift Sunnega y a 5 minutos de la calle principal. Para ir a Matterhorn pasa un colectivo súper cerca y está a 10 minutos máximo. Tardes de piano y drinks muy cozy

A Perfect Ski Stay at Hotel Alpenhof
Pros:

When planning our two-night ski stay in Zermatt, a friend recommended Hotel Alpenhof and I’m so glad they did. It turned out to be a wonderful choice, with beautiful rooms, exceptional service, and an unbeatable location.

Our stay began with a prompt pickup from the train station. At check-in, we were warmly welcomed by a staff member who was incredibly kind and helpful. She took the time to explain details about the resort and even escorted us to our room to show us how to adjust the temperature which was done through the TV.

We booked the Alpine Chic Room to accommodate the three of us, and it was perfect. Our room had a view of the Matterhorn! Our college aged son slept on the pull-out couch and commented that it was very comfortable.

The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, just a few blocks from the train station and directly across from the tunnel leading to the Sunnegga funicular. Restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance, making everything convenient and accessible.

We were only in there for a couple of days and didn’t have time to take full advantage of everything the hotel and Zermatt have to offer, however we will absolutely be returning and Hotel Alpenhof will be our first choice.

The best place to stay in Zermatt !
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Alpenhof for a family ski holiday and when we visit Zermatt again, we will definitely stay at the Alpenhof again. The hotel is very smart, the food is good and the location is excellent as it is just across from the main route to the slopes. The best thing though is the atmosphere in the very friendly bar. The bar manager (Ali) and his colleague Mattia had a nice word for everyone and the service was excellent !

Pros:

This hotel has everything you want for a special stay; starting from spa to sparkling clean rooms. Staff is paying attention to your needs and is very helpful. Food is delicious and dinner atmosphere after a ski day is cozy and warm.
The location is perfect, close to Zermatt center and Sunnega funnicular.
I would definitely come back to this hotel for my next trip to Zermatt.
