Renovation Alpine Chic Rooms

Until mid-December we are renovating all Alpine Chic rooms with a complete new look. The entire side of the Hotel above the bar will therefore be closed, the Spa, Restaurant, Bar and smoking lounge stay open as per usual. Some construction noise will be expected.
Renovation work will be done weekdays, during business hours.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Pros:

Everything! It was super good to stay there. We had a really good time, enjoyed the spa, wellness area and amazing views. Also it was really nice to listen piano during our drink before the dinner.

Wieder ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt in Zermatt!
Pros:

Das zweite Mal in einem Hotel der Familie Julen – und wieder einfach fantastisch von A bis Z. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die herzlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeitenden, die den Aufenthalt rundum angenehm machen. Ein grosses Kompliment auch an die Küche: Das Essen ist schlichtweg phänomenal!

Ein kleiner Tipp für andere Gäste: Die Besichtigung des Stalls der Familie Julen mit ihren Schafen und Kühen ist sehr interessant und absolut empfehlenswert.

A great treat for a couple of days in Zermatt
Pros:

Super nice hotel with all you can desire from a good hotel in Zermatt. We enjoyed the SPA area for relaxation and the outdoor jacuzzi. Breakfast was super delicious :-)

Cons:

The floor in our entrance and toilet was dirty -I think due to an electrician working there just before we arrived.

Great location
Pros:

Great ski room, loved the pool and the jacuzzi, excellent location.

Cons:

The room and bathroom was very small for three people. I did not find the people at reception or in the restaurant particularly friendly to us.

Badezinmer klein und etwas veraltert. Abläufe Lavabo/Badewanne verstopft, Slipper müssen an der Rezeption verlangt werden.

But, a free transportation to Matterhorn ski station would be great. Even if you set a schedule for that purpose. Public transportatiion doesn’t match the status of the hotel.
