Cons:

Wir haben das Hotel reserviert und es wurde eingegeben, dass wir einen kleinen Hund haben. Wir dürften aber nicht zum Frühstück mit dem Hund gehen und mussten dann slles selbst vom Buffet holen und im Holl essen, wo alle die Leute permanent kamen ung gingen… es ist inakzeptabel!
Wenn man schon mit einem klenen Hund kommen darf und ein Zimmer mit dem Frühstuck bucht, muss es auch erlaubt sein mit dem Hund frühstücken!
Wir sind überall mit dem Hund gewesen und war nocht nie ein Problem!

Pros:

It has been difficult to find the perfect words to describe the experience we had while staying in this fantastic hotel. We were on a two week holiday to Lugano and Milan. Unfortunately on day one I fell in the hotel room (my fault as a disabled traveller), breaking my pelvis in several places which required hospital admission. Throughout the hospital stay, my husband remained at the hotel. The hotel staff went way above and beyond what could be reasonably expected of them to support us both during this traumatic time. The hotel management even purchased additional equipment to enable me to return to the hotel before being repatriated home.
The hotel itself is stunning, the views are breathtaking, the food and service outstanding. But what makes this hotel stand out beyond anywhere we have stayed in the world are the staff. The Manager Luigi Spiniello, his assistant Ricardo, receptionist Akira, the restaurant staff and housekeepers to name a few, made our experience at the hotel in Lugano extraordinarily positive considering the situation. We are incredibly grateful for their humanity, care and support which was shown to us both. We will return to have the holiday we planned.

Hotel was great, phenomenal view, great food, but for us it was the Noemie at the hotel reception and all the associates at the concierge that made our stay in Lugano extremely memorable. They were all so pleasant and helpful in so many ways. You represent your country, the hotel and yourselves so well! Thank you!

Splendid visit!
Pros:

Excellent accommodations , our room was " royally splendid!" Loved the linens and bed coverings-so comfy it was hard to leave our bed each day. Huge marble bathroom , chocolates on my pillow, slippers, robe-what's not to love!
The view of Lake Lugano was stunning and stole a little piece of my heart. The service at the front reception and dining rooms was impeccable. All the more reason to return one day !

Pros:

Die Lage und der Blick ist toll. Die Einrichtung im EG des Hotels ist sehr klassisch und geschmackvoll.
Das Zimmer auf dem 4 Stock im Altbau war erst vor kurzem sehr schön renoviert worden. Nach und nach werden die anderen Etagen renoviert. Insbesondere das Bad war sehr exklusiv gestaltet.
Im sehr guten Restaurant gibt es glücklicherweise auch gute halbe Flaschen Wein. Die offenen Weine fand ich nicht so toll...

Cons:

Ich fand es Schade, das uns als mehrtägige Hotelgäste beim Einschecken nicht das kleine aber feine Michelin Star Restaurant empfohlen wurde. Ausserdem fand ich es nicht akzeptabel, dass die Hälfte der wenigen, grossen daybeds für externe Gäste reserviert wurden, die dann erst Stunden später kamen und die 2/3 der Zeit in der Sauna waren. Hier sollten Hotelgäste Vorrang haben. Es sollte in so einem Hotel auch Wirklich frisch gepressten Orangensaft geben.
