Great location in a very pretty lakeside town
Pros:

The location is excellent, right next to funicular railway in the old part of town.

Cons:

Rooms just a little spartan with non functiong TV in one room, but who wants to watch TV in sucha beautiful location!

Pros:

Prime location right next to the train station. The staff were extremely hospitable and even helped us with our luggage to and from the station. Everyone was so sweet, and the views were amazing. I would love to come back and explore more of Lugano someday!

落ち着いた良いホテルでした。少々、料金は高めですが、おススメできるホテルです。
Pros:

日本人の奥様の細やかな配慮が行きわたり、海外でほっとできるホテルでした。手作りの街の案内冊子もよかったです。朝食もおいしくいただきました。快適な滞在でした。

Cons:

駅からのアクセスで、新しくできた北側エレベーターについて、事前にもっと情報があれば長い坂の歩道を下らなくてもよかったかな、と思いました。 ※SBBの職員の方に道順を聞いても、長い坂の方を案内されました。 ※※AIツールでホテルへの行き方を調べると、フニクラ（ケーブルカー）に乗ればよいと間違った案内をするものもあるので、注意が必要です。

Bom contributo para uma estadia agradável
Pros:

Ótima localização, muito perto da estação e também do centro de Lugano, o Hotel Federale disponibiliza alojamento confortável, quarto com varanda sobre a cidade e o lago, bom pequeno-almoço num espaço ao ar livre.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the location, the room, the view and the friendly staff.

Pros:

Very nice staff, amazing breakfast with nice outside seating, super location right next to the train station but you don't hear the trains, you're surrounded by tranquility.
