Fantastic place. Really old history, amazing collection of paintings on the walls. I was also fortunate enough to have a lake view. Wish I could have stayed longer.

We loved this old world hotel. It was charming with a great location and the price was reasonable, including a breakfast buffet that was excellent. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony that overlooked the lake. We would stay here again anytime.
La climatisation gérer par l hôtel. Il n était pas possible d utiliser la Clim dans la chambre car la température extérieure n était pas au dessus de 23 degré mais quand vous êtes au 5ieme étage sous les toits et qu il fait 27 degrés dans la chambre ! Intenable !

A great place to stay. A historic building with modern comforts. Friendly efficient staff and a good choice for the buffet breakfast. There’s an honesty bar that is well stocked. Great location overlooking the lake and next to shops and restaurants. Excellent place to stay.

Sehr schön gelegen, sehr schöne Gartenanlage mit Pool und viele Möglichkeiten für Kinder sich zu unterhalten.
Frühstück was grundsätzlich sehr gut, jedoch war das Brot/ Croissants ein wenig Alt.
Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, super Frühstücks Buffet. Schöner Aussenbereich beim Pool (war aber für die Jahreszeit zu kalt für uns…🤷♂️😁

Super gut gelegen. Die sanfte Renovation mit Erhaltung des historischen Charmes hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet und immer sehr freundliches Personal.

This feels to me like some hotel out of a Goddard or Fellini movie from the 1960s or 70s. It's a large complex, right on the waterfront and at one end of the Via Nassa pedestrian zone. Perfect location for exploring Lugano. Our room was pretty big with views over the hotel's pool and bar. The beds were pretty low to the ground for my liking, but it was an ok sleep. All the rest of the room had been refurbished with the modern touches--especially well-located power points for charging electronics.
The room rate included a buffet breakfast, although it was pretty crowded with tour groups. But it was a great selection of food. They also have a lounge upstairs with free soft drinks and an honour bar--great for relaxing at the end of the day. Down the hall is a room showcasing the hotel's history. That is definitely worth a visit! They have free parking in an attached garage, just let them know ahead of time as spaces are somewhat limited.
