Direkt am See mit freundlichem Personal und super Frühstück, lässt einem den Strassenlärm vergessen.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und es hatte eine grosse Auswahl an Fleisch, Käse, Brot und Müesli . Der Frühstücksraum hat eine wunderbare Seesicht. Wir buchten ein Standard Zimmer, diese sind wirklich etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und es empfiehlt sich sich umso mehr auf den herrlichen Seeblick zu konzentrieren. Es ist jedoch zu erwähnen, dass diese Zimmer auf den Bildern genau so abgebildet waren.

Cons:

Die Gebühren zum Parken sind mit Fr. 17.-/Tag meiner Ansicht nach zu hoch. Die Plätze sind sehr klein und auch nicht gedeckt um hochgerechnet über Fr. 500.- pro Monat rechtfertigen zu können.

Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr stark befahrenen Strasse. Wir haben dies vor dem Buchen auf Google Maps gesehen, den Lärm jedoch ein wenig unterschätzt.

Auch die Lage neben dem Bahnhof war Ideal.

Cons:

Schade war das Wellnessanlage nur auf Bestellung und Aufpreis benützt werden kann.

Das Hotel ist an grossartiger Lage direkt am See und bietet einen guten Komfort
Pros:

Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück und sehr gutes Abendessen bei freundlicher Bedienung.
Der Hotelbesitzer kam persönlich an unseren Tisch und erzählte kurz die Hotelgeschichte.
Zum Geburtstag meiner Frau wurde uns ein Flasche Pro Secco offeriert und der Hotelbesitzer
offerierte uns dazu noch einen Rotwein. Grossartig - das Hotel ist in Familienbesitz und wird von den Kindern geführt.
Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel direkt an der Ponte Tresa Bucht am Lago di Lugano. Aussicht vom Zimmer direkt auf die Seebucht.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück gab es leider keine warmen Eier, auch keine Spiegeleier.
Bei der Dusche war der Wasserdruck etwas dürftig.

Top Lage
Pros:

Der Standort ist perfekt mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf den See. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Zimmer und Bad sauber. Das Hotel liegt fast direkt an der italienischen Grenze, welche man in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichen kann.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem würden wir das Hotel wieder wählen.

View rooms overlooking the lake.
Pros:

We were upgraded to a superior room with a great balcony overlooking the lake. Excellent breakfast in a room again overlooking the lake. Nice touch that booking a participating hotel includes the local transit pass (Ticino) which gives free travel on the local train travel and discounts for things like the funicular to the San Salvatore summit.

Cons:

I made a mistake thinking the property was across the street from the main train station in Lugano. Yes a train is across the street but it is the local S10 back and forth from Lugano and is a 25minute trip.
