Hotel Astoria

Easy to find a block from the main train station, the Hotel Astoria was both clean and comfortable. The decor was a bit sparse, and the wallpaper in my room was starting to peel, but you could tell they took pride in keeping the room clean. I was not impressed with any of the staff at the front desk, but overall, I can recommend the hotel

Nice location close to the train station. The room was clean but not extremely well maintained. The good thing was the AC which turned to be very useful - opening the window wasn’t an option because of noise outside.

Everything was correct and all right. The only thing was an air condition systemwe couldn't switch off. The noise over night was disturbing. Location is very near train station which is great for train travellers. We liked it very much.We did not try the breakfast.

This is probably the best budget hotel I've stayed at in geneva. Better than several other 4 stars even. Im glad i found this place and i am going to stay here every time im in geneva

There were almost no problems, but one thing was that the hairdryer was difficult to use. The power switch was very stiff and difficult to turn on.

This hotel was nasty. Pictures online were not what we encountered. The room was dirty, stained, smelled like smoke. Service was not professional or accommodating. We had booked for a 3 day stay, but after one night, checked out & went to another hotel. They refused to refund our money, we had paid for all 3 nights. Rude. But place was disgusting.

It’s a good property in terms of being right across the street from the train station. The shower in the bathroom is pretty tiny and the room is a bit tough to navigate with more than 1 suitcase but having the pub attached to it as a meal and drink option is terrific.

The reception service at this hotel is awful. Unacceptable for the hotel reception, especially for the 3-star hotel. When I came, after checkin time the room was not ready yet and the guy didnt even applogize. Another day another guy prioritized some customers over others. Moreover created a bit drama/scandal shouting at me, he was also mentioning that management of the hotel approve this type of behavior.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Geneva that had both some great positives and a few drawbacks. On the plus side, the location was incredibly convenient—just a short two-minute walk to public transportation and very close to a shopping centre. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is across the street from train station and close to dining and shopping. Room was nice, quiet, and well-equipped— only negative is bathroom was very tiny.
