The Place Firenze

The location was great.

This is one of the best hotels in the world. The staff are amazing, so helpful, professional and friendly. Everything was top quality, top comfort, including the bed, the linens, the shower, the breakfast. A truly amazing place to stay. This was our 5th trip to Florence and we will never stay anywhere else again. We arrived in a heavy rain/snow and the greeting at the door with thick towels for drying and gentlemen helping immediately with our luggage after a wet walk from the train station was priceless.

There is only one place in Firenze : THE Place! Fantastic staff, beautiful hotel, decorations to die for. Tasteful breakfast and great advices!

My wife and I enjoyed 5 fabulous nights @The Place Firenze. The decor and furnishings in the hotel are gorgeous. The attention to detail everywhere throughout the hotel was amazing. The staff were charming and helpful from a very late check in to our departure. Our room was very well appointed and beautifully presented. The nightly turndown service was excellent. The fact my wife and I are planning another visit next year should indicate how pleased we are with The Place, Firenze. Highly recommended.

This is the first hotel review I have ever written in my life. We stayed in room #18, which I believe was a Deluxe room. The Place is possibly the best travel accommodations we have ever experienced in our 25 years of travel, and that includes stays the Ritz, Four Seasons, Mandarin, Plaza and Waldorf. In some respect it's not fair to compare The Place with other high-end hotels, given the very small and intimate environment and incredible attention to the guest experience, but this place is unbeatable. The staff is top notch, and the staff-to-guest ratio must be close to at least 5-to-1 during peak hours (a special complement to the gentlemen from Brazil!). It's not often that your accommodations become a highlight of the trip, in line with the local sites/attractions, which is saying something for a city like Florence. My only criticism is now the bar for futures trips has been set to an unattainable level after our stay at The Place. If The Place is in your budget, don't stay anywhere else.

The Place Firenze is an absolute gem — a boutique, gorgeous property with truly amazing staff. Every single team member went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Special thanks to Slywia, Marina, and Alejandro for their warmth and incredible service.
The Aperol Spritz was perfection, and the croissants were the best we’ve had anywhere in Europe. We are genuinely sad to leave and can’t wait to return. My new favorite hotel — an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

My husband and I traveled to Firenze in mid October. The Place Firenze exceeded all of our expectations! The hospitality here is unmatched. Every staff member is friendly and helpful. Our accommodations were spotless and beautiful! The restaurant is fantastic - delicious food, drinks and wine and a staff that makes you feel right at home. We had an extremely early departure time at 5:15 am. Upon arrival to the reception area to wait for our car we were met with a tray of coffee and a take away bag packed with fruit, pastries, water bottles and yogurt. We have never had a hotel staff go above and beyond like that at any time of departure! Such a great property. We cannot wait to return to beautiful Firenze and The Place.

My fiancé and I had the most wonderful stay at the Place Firenze! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. They were warm, attentive, and always went out of their way to help with anything we needed—whether it was arranging recommendations, offering directions, or simply making sure we were comfortable.

The hotel itself is beautiful—elegant yet cozy, with charming touches that perfectly capture the spirit of Florence. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the little details thought through. The common areas were equally inviting, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city.

The location was perfect as well—convenient to many of Florence’s highlights but still peaceful and quiet when it was time to rest.

Overall, this was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.

Wonderful breakfast esp the juices, superb rooms and decor! My son loved the lollipops at the front desk and the terrace was a nice place to chill. Good location
