Comforting, romantic
Pros:

The super nice staffs, and the outside pool was amazing.

Cons:

Not enough food in breakfast.
The inside jacuzzi is too expensive for 2hours.
Our sheets was not clean enough. It was on the outside but i have allergy to dust mites and got it there.

The hotel itself looks very nice and definitely has a lot of potential. The common areas are attractive, and the regular breakfast selection was very good with plenty of choice. I also appreciated that, after we raised the issue regarding my gluten-free breakfast, the hotel provided gluten-free bread the following morning.

Cons:

Unfortunately, my overall experience did not match what I would expect from a 4-star hotel.
Before our arrival, I contacted the hotel specifically about gluten-free breakfast and was informed that gluten-free options would be available. However, on the first morning there was no gluten-free bread. I was initially given packaged gluten-free biscuits, only to discover that they had expired several months earlier. After I pointed this out, I was given another packaged gluten-free pastry that was within its expiry date, but there was still no bread or proper breakfast alternative.
I don't expect a huge gluten-free selection, but when a dietary requirement is communicated in advance, I expect at least a basic option to actually be available. Having no proper breakfast that first morning genuinely affected my experience for the rest of the day. Gluten-free bread was provided the following morning after we complained, which I appreciated, but this should not have required a complaint when the request had already been made in advance.
The room was also below the standard I would expect from a 4-star hotel. There were cleanliness and maintenance issues in the bathroom, including visible mold, and an unpleasant sewage-like smell in the room.
It is unfortunate because the hotel has potential, but I have stayed at 3-star hotels in Lignano where I personally experienced better room standards, cleanliness and overall attention to guests.
