A beautiful villa with lovely grounds and easy access to Venice, but the rooms not great.
Pros:

The villa itself is beautiful, with lovely private gardens and a very pleasant swimming pool. We appreciated being moved to a larger room as soon as we arrived. The location also worked very well for visiting Venice, with an easy bus connection taking us directly into the city at a very reasonable price.

Cons:

The rooms are a little tired and could have been cleaner, particularly the floors, which were quite dusty. Even after being moved to a larger room, we still found it rather small. Breakfast was also unnecessarily complicated, as we had to choose in advance both the time we would eat and what we wanted. This wasn’t very flexible when you’re on holiday, and there was sometimes confusion over what we had ordered. We also found the restaurant staff could have been a little more welcoming. The shower doors didnt close properly and the toilet very high! Didnt appreciate hearing other guests coming and going at all hours or the noise of the AC.
