Our room was on the third floor with no lift, although this wasn’t an issue for us it might cause problems if travelling with children or elderly

Nada no me gusto.
En consecuencia me gustó mucho todo.
Mit meinem Aufenthalt und der Gastfreundschaft bin ich allgemein sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer ist schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Empfang war unkompliziert und herzlich. Die Lage gefiel mir auch gut, denn das Hotel liegt zwischen dem Stadtzentrum und dem hipperen Südteil der Stadt (Ballsbridge, Ranelagh, Rathmines). Wenn man gerne läuft, erreicht man Vieles zu Fuss. Einzige Minuspunkte sind die Preis-Leistung (happig!) und die etwas spezielle Frühstückssituation.
Das Frühstück war zwar mit Sorgfalt aufgetischt, doch war die Kommunikation der Zeiten nicht ganz klar. Das Personal war aber nach anfänglicher Konfusion dann doch bemüht. Für meinen Geschmack fehlte es an Brot auf dem Continental Buffet, es wurde (ungefragt) warmer Toast serviert, sonst gabs nur noch Sodabread.

I had a quick 1 night stay in Dublin, arriving quite late and leaving early the next day. Staff upgraded my room on arrival, which was great and much appreciated! I was also able to store my bag there the next day while attending a conference. The room was well-equipped with everything I needed (tea, biscuits, water, hairdryer) and all was clean. The location was good, many bars nearby, and plenty of shops for any supplies.

Le stanze sono belle e molto pulite, se pure con arredi datati, ma ciò contribuisce al fascino.
La posizione è buona: in 20 minuti a piedi si arriva a Temple Bar oppure c'è una comodissima fermata del bus proprio fuori dalla porta.
L'accoglienza non è stata ahimè delle migliori: per via di una incomprensione nella lettura delle istruzioni, abbiamo parcheggiato nel cortile adiacente. Abbiamo chiamato il numero riportato nel messaggio e la signora che ha risposto si è dimostrata molto scortese. La macchina è rimasta nel cortile sbagliato per pochissimi minuti, quindi la reazione della signora è risultata alquanto fuori luogo. Penso sia accettabile un piccolo errore da parte di viaggiatori in una città straniera, no?

The staff were wonderful. The Czech woman (receptionist) was extremely helpful and got me and my girlfriend settled quickly.
We had a great time, lovely host and it was very homely. In a great location. No fridge in the room or aircon but made do.

Es war im Zimmer wenig Platz zum Ausbreiten von 2 Koffern. Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig. Gespräche hätte man aus den Nachbarzimmern mithören können.
