Everything was perfect — the cleanliness, the size of the room, the location, and both the outdoor and indoor areas. I was really impressed by the overall quality and comfort.

However, the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak, which made it difficult to use the internet properly during my stay. Also, the breakfast was disappointing considering the price of €18 per person — it did not meet expectations for that value.

Despite these two issues, I would still recommend the hotel and would be happy to stay again.

The hotel was OK, about 10 minutes walk from the town, on a road without lights or pavement.
Our room was noisy being at the front of the hotel. It was hot as the air conditioning was not in use and with the window open the traffic noise and people noise was too loud to sleep.
The hotel had a number of groups on tours - mostly English. It is surprising that there were no kettles in the rooms as this would have been appreciated by those residents. The bedroom was comfortable- note that the sockets in the part of Italy are NOT the standard 2 pin ones but 3 pin ones.
The breakfast was OK. No hot food (cold scrambled eggs!), but plenty of croissants and cake. No chopped mixed fresh fruit but whole fruit available.
The restaurant next door was not part of the hotel. It only opened for dinner at 7.30 pm so it was necessary to walk into the town to get an earlier meal.

beuatiful area with great views; and nice spa area with mineral pools, and outdoor pool. close to everything to see around in Tuscany region. Great restaurant on the site which is open late. Staff is very friendly, and professional. The spa area is open until MN. The rooms are comfortable, and have balconies.

This hotel is crazy. So many levels . Def not good if you have any mobility issues. The hotel is dark and depressing. The pool is gorgeous with an incredible view but no one goes in it because you have to wear a bathing cap . NOBODY wants to wear a bathing cap. There are old couches everywhere. Like everywhere. It’s
The room keys weigh 500 lbs and has the name of the hotel and room on it (not safe ). The walls are paper thin . We had to use our iPhone flashlight to see the door lock . The lighting in the room is poor . The rooms are clean . Mattresses ok and towels are good. Cold
Scrambled eggs and raw hot dogs. The breakfast is awful . The restaurant is huge and the staff don’t really care if you’re there . My pasta was good tho.
Honestly I’m mostly good with anything but for such a gorgeous area this was truly disappointing . Will never come back . I gave it 2 because the cleaning staff is very efficient.

Not worth the $$ staff is just ok, rooms and furniture are tired. On a sunny day I’m sure pool is nice and the massage was excellent

Nice and relaxing place. this is the second time at this hotel and it's really good!
Wake up in the morning with a fantastic view over the valley. Very clean hotell and a nice swimming pool. You need to were a shower cap and that was very positive, no hair or other stuff in the pool.
Easy and good breakfast the Italian way and the best coffee!
A very good restaurant in the building next door
The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from one of the nicest small towns in Tuscany, San Quirico d ´Orcia. Beautiful village! Also very close to Pienza, Montallchino and other great cities to visit.
Will highly recommend a stay here!

The Casanova Hotel and Wellness Center is a hidden jewel in the heart of the beauty and tranquility that is Tuscany. The perfect place to relax, re-energize and revitalize the mind and body. The salt caves and restaurant are the perfect compliment to the stunning views of Tuscany. My better half and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did not want to leave.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only thing we would do differently next time is stay longer. The salt caves were really nice and the pool facilities were also great.

Fantastic stay, staff very welcoming and helpful. Hotel fantastic layout and pool areas. Rooms very good, air con excellent nd very good bathrooms with rain shower. Will definetley be returning. 5 star.

Très bel hotel et son emplacement est idéal situé juste à l’entrée du village.
Manque peut être un accès plus sécurisant avec des trottoirs pour accéder au village.

We have been coming to this little gem for 20 years, covid excepted.
It is family owned, one daughter trained to be an architect and boy does it show.
The views of the unesco protected valley take your breath away
Each year more improvements are apparent
There is a spa, indoor pool, gym and a grotto.
In the grounds separately is another old building and that is the restaurant Barba Rosa
The mediaeval town is 800 yards away and unspoilt
They filmed Medici there

Very old and in desperate need of an upgrade…
