Pros:

Alojamiento pequeño pero con buenas instalaciones. El lugar donde está ubicado es agradable y tranquilo, pero no hay establecimientos comerciales y el transporte no es muy bueno, especialmente los fines de semana. El alojamiento no tiene recepción, lo cual puede ser un problema dependiendo de la hora que llegues, ya que la entrada principal no siempre está abierta.

Hotel Calzaiolo is WONDERFUL! I had a very restful time there. Antonietta is a kind, charming owner, and was so sweet and helpful to me. She even had a taxi deliver a work bag for me after I forgot it in my hotel room! Speaking of the room, it was charming and perfect, with a very cool wardrobe, and wood ceilings that overflowed with rustic style. If you're looking a for quiet, restful hotel (just 25 minutes outside of the hustle-and-bustle of downtown Florence), I highly recommend Hotel Calzaiolo!

very friendly family that runs the hotel, super convenient for getting to nearby wedding venues / wineries etc. Limited english so have google translate available but they are very accomadating!

ho prenotato due notti ma ne compariva solo una e quindi per una notte ho dovuto spostarmi in un altro hotel più costoso...meno male che c'era il posto!
doccia fissa, quindi se non hai una cuffia ( non messa a disposizione) ti bagni i capelli
scalini fuori norma e troppa moquette...

Hotel a gestione familiare, accoglienza semplice e cortese. Stanza ampia e ariosa. Bel bagno ampio ed attrezzato. Comodo per i muoversi nei dintorni di San Casciano in quanto vicino al raccordo autostradale Fi-Si. Nel complesso sono stato bene, lo consiglio a chi cerca comodità e semplicità a buon prezzo! Bra standard på rom og bad. Fint turterreng for mosjon. Sentralt for bilturer i Toscana og Siena området. Ikke særlig spennende sted å bo, men rimelig.

No food in the evening even if you die from hungry
Pros:

The town and the neigborhood are beautiful. The hotel was good for staying but lack of some professionality on tourism. The room was very clean. Visiting some towns around was very interesting. The area is very good for visiting and staying. But you have to rent a car for mobility otherwise very difficult to visit around.
