Sehr schönes Strandhotel für ein paar Tage
Pros:

Wunderschönes historisches Gebäude, ebenso die Zimmer, mit hohen Räumen, Stuck, Bodenmosaik, schöner Wandgestaltung, man spürt den Geist der alten Zeit, einfach wunderbar. Sehr zentrale Lage gegenüber der Strandpromenade. Sehr freundliche Empfang an der Rezeption. Zum Frühstück wird echter Cappuccino aus dem Siebträger serviert (kein Vollautomat). Im Strandbad gegenüber gibt es ermäßigte Sonnenliegen mit Schirm (das Personal dort an der Bar und die Bademeister sind übrigens sehr freundlich und unterhaltsam). Es gibt ausreichend viele vergünstige, aber kostenpflichtige Parkplätze um das Hotel herum.

Cons:

Die Lage an der Straße bedeutet bei geöffnetem Fenster Straßenlärm nachts und morgens. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung und ohne besondere Highlights. Das Kopfteil war nur an das Bett angeleht anstatt fest verbunden und klappert daher sehr.

Schöner Kurzurlaub in Viareggio!
Pros:

Das Hotel ist super hübsch und die Hotelmutarbeiter sind sehr kompetent und freundlich. Die Lage zum Strand und die Aussicht vom Fenster / Balkon aus, ist auch toll! Es waren auch nicht so viele Leute da wie erwartet.

Cons:

Man teilt sich den Balkon mit Fremden. Das ist nicht bei jedem Balkonzimmer so, aber bei unserem war es so. Ist jetzt nicht so schlimm, aber das sollte man bei der Zimmerbuchung vielleicht berücksichtigen. Zusatz: Das Essen in den Restaurants an der Promenade haben wir uns besser erhofft - eher so mittelmäßiges Essen, war okay.
