The worst stay of my life, I can’t complain enough.
Cons:

For beginners, they did not accept cash which we were not expecting but that’s fine, I was trying to solve it so we could pay with card but the manager was really rude and seemed annoyed the whole time and made us feel extremely uncomfortable the whole time, I was very understanding that they did not take cash and told him that we will just come back in 20 minutes after we deposit it but it made him somehow really mad. After I called we called and got someone to transfer us the money so we could pay ( because the manager did not want us to leave for some reason, we said we would come back late and he insisted on paying with his card and taking the cash) everything was okey until the second night, a friend had to check in but couldn’t make it on time so the receptionist left his keys on our room and when we came back we realised that the 100 euros we left on the nightstand were gone, the manager was super rude and screaming the whole time, being so disrespectful when we told him that our money was gone, saying that he didn’t need our money, that he nor his receptionist would steal it and started blaming it on us for not putting it on the safe. At the end we just went home without our money, they didn’t have any cameras or anything. The worst stay of my life. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel, not only for this experience, but the reception is almost never open and the facilities are really bad. Will contact corporate about this matter. This kind of people like that manager should absolutely not be working on front desk if he doesn’t know how to treat costumers or how to act on stressful situations.

Pros:

Das Zimmer entsprach optisch dem, was man von Dormero kennt: hochwertig, schlicht eingerichtet und mit einem großen, bequemen Zimmerlayout. Das Personal war freundlich und die kostenlosen Getränke im Kühlschrank sind ein tolles Extra, das man nicht überall findet.

Cons:

Etwas enttäuschend war allerdings der Schlafkomfort. Von Dormero bin ich gewohnt, wie auf Wolken zu schlafen, doch in diesem Zimmer war die Matratze deutlich härter. Auch die Klimaanlage arbeitete nur sehr schwach. Da es sich um ein älteres Hotel handelt, wäre hier eine Modernisierung sinnvoll gewesen.

Insgesamt wirkt das Gebäude zwar optisch aufgefrischt, dennoch sieht man an vielen Stellen das Alter des Hauses. Das ist schade, denn einen solchen Zustand kannte ich von Dormero bisher nicht. Trotzdem war der Aufenthalt insgesamt angenehm, vor allem dank des freundlichen Personals und der kleinen Extras.
