Hotel Miramar am Römer

They are advertising an air conditioned property which wasn't working. My stay was on some of the hottest days, as the property is on a main street, one cannot open the window and sleep well.

That was very uncomfortable.

Purtroppo la stanza era particolarmente stretta senza climatizzazione e quindi era molto calda e la ventilazione non funzionava. Il letto era matrimoniale se fossimo stati in due sarebbe stato troppo caldo per dormire.
La struttura deve essere un po' rivista c'era la lampadina del tavolo fulminata e il frigorifero non funzionava. Ho nuotato stavano già facendo dei lavori di restyling spero anche per la stanza che hanno dato a me

Cuando llegamos no tenía aire acondicionado!!! No lo podíamos creer, no dormimos absolutamente nada, no se podía respirar el calor era horrible, ni aire ni ventilador ni ninguna facilidad por parte del personal, al día siguiente cuando reclamamos el dinero nos dieron largas y no facilitaron nada, tuvimos que irnos por la mañana y buscar otro hotel. Viajamos con niños pequeños los cuales no durmieron nada, fue una experiencia horrible.

Alte Ausstattung und keine eigenen Parkplätze

The reason I booked at the hotel was because the hotel showed as having air con. The week I was in Germany was the heat wave so air con was the most important thing I required form the stay.

When I checked in and went to my room, I immediately realised that the room was very hot. I tried to set the air con, but the control panel looked like it was from the 80's and some of the knobs were broken off the unit.

I then went back down to reception and asked how do I get the room cooler. The person at reception said that the air con was faulty and that someone was on route to fix it in about an hour. I went back to the room and couldn't take the heat so decided to leave. When I got to the reception and said I want a credit and that I am leaving, they then said the rooms don't have air con. Remember they told me a repair person was on route to fix it just 5 mins earlier!

Then they said I would not be refunded as it was a non-refundable booking. At this point I gave up and left to find another hotel 500m down the road that had aircon.

Honestly one of the worst experiences and if you are looking for an affordable stay with clean rooms, good location and air con, try mainhaus Stadthotel Frankfurt as they were much better.

I logged a complaint with Booking.com, and they tried to get a refund from the hotel, but they to were told no from the hotel. As a goodwill gesture Booking.com gave € 10.56 as clearly Hotel Miramar am Römer can't be bothered.

Promised an AC, but it wasn‘t functioning during high season(!) (approx. +27° in the room). They mentioned this at check-in, but without offering any other compensation, unfortunately.

I went to Frankfurt during the heat wave. I understand that houses here normally don't have air conditioning, but it was too hot to stay in the room, even though the staff kindly provided me a fan.

Airco was not working, this is known by the staff but still advertised on booking as rooms with airconditioning

I only booked this hotel to have an AC room. But AC was broken

Zuerst wurde mir der Schlüssel zu einem Zimmer ausgehändigt, das nicht hergerichtet und geputzt war. Mir wurde dann ein anderes Zimmer zugeteilt, dessen uralte Klimaanlage bei 37 Grad Aussentemperatur nicht funktionierte, nur sehr laut brummte.
Die beiden Fenster waren ungeputzt, geradezu dreckig. Ein anderes freies Zimmer stand nicht zur Verfügung.
